“Just had my Landrover Defender 110 fully under sealed by Gordon and Chris at Rust Proofing Autocare.

My Defender is 12 years old and I’ve owned it for 10 years. This is the 3rd time I’ve had this vehicle undersealed.

The first one was done at a local garage using ‘chassis paint’. Within 6 months it was starting to look orange in places so I bit the bullet and took it to Gordon for a Dinitrol treatment. Excellent job done.

I waited 6 years before taking the vehicle back for this most recent under seal treatment. There were signs of surface rust in places but the previous coating had held fast. This is testament to the efficacy of Dinitrol underseal.

Gordon and Chris stripped back the old coating, rust and dirt to expose the chassis/undercarriage before cleaning and applying a fresh Dinitrol treatment. This can be a time consuming process so I took the opportunity to leave my vehicle with them while I was on holiday so they had plenty time to get the job done.

Gordon uses a hot Dinitrol Wax application system for uninterrupted even application across the full underside of the vehicle and inside the chassis rails and crossmembers.

I am very happy with the quality of the work provided and in my experience, Dinitrol out lasts many other under seal products. That said, I won’t be waiting 6 years before returning for a re application. I’ll be back at rust proofing Autocare in the recommended 3 years for my next touch up.

A professionally applied under seal is more expensive than a DIY job but it does help ensure the longevity of your vehicle, saving fortunes on chassis repairs/welding/replacement in the long run. The only downside is now that my chassis looks so amazing, I’ve had to send the wheels off to the powder coaters so they can start looking the part too.

For customer service, professionalism and a high standard of work at a great price, I cannot recommend Rust Proofing Autocare highly enough.”

I spent a lot of time searching for a reputable rust-proofing service, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than with Gordon (& Son). The workmanship is flawless - every stage, from preparation to final application, demonstrated real care and attention to detail.

Customer service was exceptional. I received progress photos throughout the job, they checked over a mechanical concern free of charge, and they even offered me lifts to and from the garage to save on taxi costs.
