As the year is now drawing to a close I thought it might be worthwhile bringing you all up to date with how the year has gone. Firstly it has been another busy year with 60 passes, attendance at a Client Centred Learning Course for three days, 30 new pupils plus 18 under 17s for the 15+ driving lessons in Stirling. It has also been a year of up and down health problems for me with the latest news that I now need a new knee...scheduled for January 2015. This will of course require a break for about 6 weeks at the early part of the year and some patience with the physio. I ask that you too have some patience...I'll be back ASAP.

So, here we go, into another new year of driving safely. We at Forth Valley School of Motoring take safety very seriously indeed. Our lessons are designed to develop the pupils abilities in reading the road ahead and behind and identifying, prioritising and ; dealing with hazards. Asking the question "What If?"
allows the driver to plan for the unexpected.

Another brilliant pass today, this time for Allyson Bell in Grangemouth. Well done to you Allyson, told you you would do it. And only three driver errors. You can show off your new licence when you emigrate to the States, and remember all the drills you learned from me at Forth Valley School of Motoring....happy motoring.

AS its the 22nd July, for me and some others a very important date, I enjoyed opening my cards this morning celebrating my birthday over 21 years ago. Mari, Kevin and I then went to Comrie for a great days golf in spectacular scenery. A right Royal Day. Many thanks for all your birthday wishes.

Just getting on with the job of training pupils to drive to the highest standard possible. Loving the Air Con in my training car...cool lessons in a cool car. Showed high 20s today in Stirling with 16 year old pupil on our 15+ course. Stress free. Had four passes in June and another one last week. Honesty being my watchword, also had a pupil who didn't quite make it...next time!!.
