🌙 The evenings are getting darker… is your car ready for autumn?

As the days get shorter, we’ll be spending more time driving in the dark, in the rain and on increasingly slippery roads.

Now is a good time to give your car a quick check:

💡 Lights – Are all your headlights, brake lights and indicators working properly?

🛞 Tyres – Check the condition, tread depth and pressures.

🌧️ Wipers – Are they clearing the windscreen properly, or leaving streaks?

🔋 Battery – Is your car taking longer to start than usual?

🧼 Windows & lights – Keeping them clean makes a big difference to visibility.

These are simple things that are easy to overlook — but you don't want to discover a problem when you're driving home on a dark, wet evening.

🚗 A little preparation now can help keep you safer and your journey trouble-free this autumn.

Need some help getting your car ready? Get in touch with the CCM team or book your vehicle in online.

🚨 What is your car trying to tell you?

That little warning light on your dashboard could be a minor reminder… or an early warning that something needs attention.

Here are 5 warning lights you shouldn’t ignore:

🔧 Engine Management – Your engine or emissions system may need investigating.

🛞 Tyre Pressure – Check your tyre pressures and condition as soon as possible.

🔋 Battery – Could indicate a problem with the charging system or battery.

🛑 Brake Warning – Don’t ignore this one. Your braking system may need urgent attention.

💨 DPF – Your diesel particulate filter may need attention before the problem gets worse.

Not sure what a warning light means?
Don’t guess. Our technicians can investigate the cause and help get you back on the road. 🚗

📲 Save this post for the next time a warning light appears.
