No need to book in online, just turn up and race.

£6 to all, 3 qualifying rounds and 1 final. All 1/10th classes raced.Gates will be open from 6pm with a 7pm start.

Unfortunately, this Thursday nights racing (11th June) has been cancelled.

Practise will be on Saturday as normal from 10am - 4pm. We will be back racing next Thursday 18th.

This is not the post I wanted to write on a Monday morning. Unfortunately, our former secretary Simon Gaunt (Si) peacefully and suddenly passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sunday afternoon, surrounded by his wife Jo and close family.

Just two weeks ago, Si was still racing and enjoying what he loved most (aside from partying). His determination to fight against this illness truly reflected the kind of person he was. He had the kindest, most thoughtful soul, always putting others first. If there was ever a newcomer at the track, Si would be the first to offer help and guidance.

Even when people were feeling down, Si had the remarkable ability to make them smile. I am sure he will be deeply missed by everyone at CMCC and the wider RC community.

As a committee, we are going to grieve that he’s not with us, the majority of us have fantastic memories of him and some of the newer committee members too.

Our thoughts are with Jo and his family during this difficult time.

Don’t forget we’ve got our 2nd trial meeting for 1/8th electric Rally X this coming Sunday 31st May.

We need a minimum of 15 drivers to run this event so please book in via the following link:

Gates will be open from 8:30am, we’ll aim to be racing around 9:30 - 9:45.

- 4 rounds of qualifying (2 to count)
- 1 final (10 min final)

Please book in via the link below as going forward we are limiting spaces to 40 (4 heats)

Buggies (3 heats) - this will be a mix of 2wd, 4wd & vintage unless we can make a full heat of each class.

Trucks (1 heat) - this will be a mix of ST & SCT.

Booking for each week will open up at 9am on the Friday beforehand so please book in early to avoid disappointment.

Gates open at 6pm - racing start at 7pm.
3 qualifying rounds and 1 final
£6 entry to all (pay on the day either by cash or card)

Track layout for tomorrows BRCA MidWest Regional 2wd Round 2 Coventry.

Please either use google maps or Apple Maps and enter Coventry Model Car Club as your destination, this will give you an exact location as the postcode covers quite a large area. Please look for the white cottage (Toft Cottage Farm), this is on your right as you drive down the hill after exiting Dunchurch.

Unfortunately, due to a last minute cancellation there will be no food / drink tomorrow so please bring your own.

The main gate will be open from 7am, please do not arrive any earlier. If you do you, you will be unable to access the site.

Please park on either the hard standing (Perimeter only) or the grass field. The grass area adjacent to the track / marques is to be used for pitting only except for disabled drivers. Pitting under the marques will be first come, first serve.

Practise this Saturday 16th May will be from 10am to 2pm (Anyone who has entered the 2wd regional on Sunday will not be permitted to practise).

The track will be closed from 2pm due to regional track preparation.
