Given the current economic climate, we understand the importance of maximising fuel efficiency. Here are some universal Toyota Approved driving pointers on how to get the most out of your vehicle.

1. Early shift! Higher engine gear = lower engine speed. Lower engine speed = lower fuel consumption. Shifting to a higher gear early ensures less fuel is consumed thus, saving you money.

2. Switching off your engine if you predict you are going to be stationary for longer than a minute minimises fuel waste.

3. Regular tyre checks – we recommend checking your tyre pressure once a month, potentially saving you up to 3% on fuel consumption and helping to extend your tyre life.
