Brian also wanted to upgrade his BMW F15 40D with Full Screen Apple CarPlay and the latest BMW ID6 interface.

His vehicle was running an older NBT EVO software version (ID5) , so we carried out a full head‑unit update to bring it up to NBT_EVO_Y, unlocking a smoother, faster system with the newest features available.

To ensure a safe and stable flash, the vehicle was connected to a 70AMP power supply throughout the entire process.

Picked up another local BMW specialist on our books today.

The customer came to the specialist for a full intake system rebuild, but one stubborn fault code refused to disappear. No amount of Initialisation, coding or programming would do it. Endless attempts… nothing would shift it.

After 9 months of chasing the issue, we got the call. 30 minutes later we were on-site.

The ECU was removed. Benched it for a full back up. Pinned-out work carried out safely and correctly.

DTC OFF solution applied successfully and no more warning lights. No more fault codes. One seriously relieved customer. On our way 20 minutes later.

What an unreal colour… Daytona Violet absolutely transforms the G05 🔥

This BMW X5 M50D came in after an attempted crystal gear selector upgrade went wrong — a very common issue when the exact replacement procedure isn’t followed 100%.

The original GWS module failed during the swap, leaving the vehicle requiring a replacement module along with full coding and integration back into the vehicle systems. No problem for us.

While the vehicle was with us, the owner also asked us to update the digital BMW service history, as the local independent garage didn’t have the capability to carry it out.
