One of my own ones. 16 thousand miles it’s done. Last on the road in 1976. California car 289 C code black interior. Going to be a 600 horsepower ish 408 Stroker with a 5 speed manual transmission with G Force Gears to handle the power. 355 Track lock rear end. With new everything bar a few bits of trim and glass. Probably be black with carbonized grey full racing stripes so it matches my 65. Will be for sale probably as the 65 is my favourite 🤣

Wheeled it over married it to a new tr**ny and popped the happy couple in their forever renovated mid century American home 🤣 And I was unsupervised and alone with the Red loctite. Those strokers will rattle bolts like anything. Can do the subframe connectors now as the vehicle must be on all fours and under its weight as otherwise you’ll get issues.

Bare metals risky, time consuming and expensive so do it with caution and only when absolutely necessary. You really want air run through a drier in a heated booth ideally or you run the risk of trapping moisture between the steel and the epoxy and creating more problems than just over an older stable paint job.

In the case of these three the paint jobs were 30 and 58 / 51 years old and failing / microblisters in the white one and burgundy 67 so time to go back to square one.

Quartz high zinc I use now. Get it delivered next day and it works better than all the other brands I’ve tried. Spray guns direct have it.

Want subframe connectors that don’t look like someone’s put some scaffolding pipe on the bottom of your car ? These by tinman are by far the best. Especially if you want to lower the vehicle. Look factory as well.

Guess you could say really like strokers ! Six 331’s one 408 and 445 3700 horsepower combined 🤣💪 Personally the 331’s are favourites.
