331 coming along. File to fit piston rings so takes a while. S**t rods / crank / forged pistons / king / Mahle fun bits. Nearly an hour per cylinder. Probably 16/17 hours to assemble.

Cam bearings. Not a particularly bad job. Can be troublesome but each blocks different 🤣 I only use Durabond FP 18 or Mahle / Clevite SH-1321S. Check with the camshaft every bearing you install it turns freely.

Sometimes the one at the front (loads from the back through all the new bearings) can be a s**t but give the journal a quick polish and it’ll come good.

You need a minimum 2lb club to wack em in. Make sure the cones seated and smooth straight wacks.

The mighty Toyota tundra! UK bound. Might keep this one or sell it. Be repainted either black or Porsche crayon and the hideous fender flares deleted.

Last year of the first generation tundra. And way more reliable than any Ford / Dodge / Chevrolet or Nissan. Bulletproof almost.

Rare truck in the UK. Essentially a giant Hilux with a V8
2006 More powerful 2UZ-FE VVTI 4.7 V8 with the 5 speed automatic.
Top of the range limited double cab edition with the optional leather seats.
Just done 3000 miles towing etc zero issues.
AC is ice cold
Doesn’t overheat etc. will tow for 8 hours in 41 Celsius no problem .
Tow bar with tow package all working.
Electric wind down rear window.
Does 14 -18 MPG depending on how you drive it.
229,666 miles.
Bed liner.
New windshield and two rear tyres just installed.

Here’s what’s coming.

67 Convertible 289 V8 Auto project king of the classic convertibles. Deluxe interior car.

66 289 / 302 coupe rebuilt motor and transmission. Super straight. Immaculate for an original car underneath not a speck of rust on it other than that surface on the roof.

67 289 c4 auto coupe new black interior runs and drives around. Don’t know if stops didn’t try the brakes.

Roller 351 picked up standard bore for the convertible if I play with it a little more over the winter. Be fun to have a 500 horsepower plus 5 speed desecrated convertible 🤣 The ones to look out for roller 351’s.
