DAF ELECTRIC TRUCKS FOR GRUNDON
Four XD Electric Rear Steer refuse collectors are in operation for Grundon Waste Management. With a range in excess of 200 miles, one of the reasons Fleet Engineer, Stephen Townsend, chose DAF was its 5-star Direct Vision rating for operation in Greater London. The vehicles are based at a site with its own power supply which recovers energy from non-recyclable waste.
