RRR Engineering Road Race Rally Engineering provides motorsport electronics, engine control and data logging solutions for the motorsport industry.

Road Race Rally Engineering (RRR Engineering) was created in 2012 as an answer for the increasing need of honest and reliable service in the motorsport, high performance cars sectors. We also cater for small OEM manufacturers. The majority of our work is with motorsport electronics, engine control, paddleshift and data logging systems. Our work can be found all over the world, we have customers in Brazil, USA, Malaysia and most European countries. Our engineers have vast experience in many different competitive disciplines. From rally cross and rallying to the highest levels GT and historic circuit racing. Our experience covers support in engine development, track side support, engine control and paddleshift system fitment and calibration. Package validations, products test and development. We have long term relationships with Cosworth Electronics (Pectel, PI Data systems). Our engineers have worked with Mosler Europe, Lotus Cars, Praga Race cars and a lot of smaller race teams. We provide the best solution for privateers, teams and manufacturers. We are committed to enabling the success of our customers and creating long term relationships.

Why injector quality matters and why we invested in a injector testing rig,
Both injectors have the same flow and inject the same fuel quantity, the one on the left though is 40 years old and not exactly, in the best shape. Customer compained the engine wasn't running well at anything other than wide-open throttle, the cause is obvious in the video, injector on the lft is dumping fuel almost in a stream, meaning no atomisation and poor burn inside the cylinder, on the right you can see a much wider cone and 'mist' of fuel.

Who can guess what power this little 1-litre 3-pot makes?
It left the factory in naturally aspirated form, making just 68 horsepower and 93nm of torque; current numbers are a lot higher than this though..

Hub dynos aren't the easiest to work with, however, they are the most repeatable way to measure your car's performance, eliminating tyre slip, different strap-down condition in between sessions or roller inertia to provide the most accurate and repeatable results, which is why we use them at RRR Engineering & Ecumaster UK to test and dial in your cars and our products.
