testing on site in a friendly environment where you can

view your vehicle being tested in comfort to insure your total peace of mind. We also offer tyres, exhausts and batteries as well as the latest diagnostic equipment, air conditioning service and repair, and courtesy vehicles with no hidden charges. 💥HIRING💥

Expanding family run garage is in need of a fully qualified Mechanic - NVQ3, City & Guilds or equivalent. MOT Tester would be an advantage but not a requirement.

We work on all makes of vehicles and carry out repairs, services, diagnostics and MOT's.

Candidate must have independent garage experience, full clean driving license and a good customer rapport.

We would also require you to supply your own tools. Welding experience would be advantageous.

Hours will be 9.5hrs a day, 45 hours per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Monday to Friday 8-5:30

*Opening Update*

Just to let all of our customers and friends know, Green Lane Garages at both the Olveston and Berkeley locations will be opening from Monday 18th May 2020.

In order to take everyone’s health and welfare seriously, at this current time we are only looking to conduct work that is pre-booked unless in an emergency situation.

TO PROTECT OUT STAFF AND CUSTOMERS, THE GARAGE WILL CLOSE AT 5PM ON THURSDAY 26TH MARCH UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

DVSA – MOT DUE DATES FOR CARS, MOTORCYCLES AND LIGHT VANS WILL BE EXTENDED BY 6 MONTHS FROM MONDAY 30TH MARCH 2020, TO HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS.
VEHICLE OWNERS DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO EXTEND THEIR VEHICLE’S MOT EXPIRY DATE IF IT’S ON OR AFTER 30TH MARCH. HOWEVER, THEIR VEHICLE MUST BE SAFE TO DRIVE. PAPER EXEMPTION CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE NEEDED.
