NEW WEBSITE: Hi Guys, So after 15 years of trying to explain over the phone how to spell Jam Inns I've come to the conclusion it's better to make life easier for everyone :-)

Our new domain www.ice-supplier.co.uk I think this is going to be better for ease of finding the site & is more logical as the web domain. The old email address will remain live till year end but we also have now the email [email protected] which we will now be communicating on.

Kind Regards

WARNING TRADER IN BRISTOL PLEASE SHARE. Hi Guys, I have had to issue this warning to businesses in Bristol that there is no connection between my factory Jam Inns Ice in Bristol in the top pictures & the... graffiti'd shed below branded Ice Mill that has copied an almost identical image of our logo with there 'company name'.

Background, Jam Inns Ice Delivery in Bristol I started back in 2011 the company has been running longer. We are a high volume ice manufacturing factory to supply the hospitalty industry, bars, restaurants, festivals & events. We have built up over the years a huge following of fantastic corporate clients & as a snapshot of a typical weekend in the summer up to 250,000 people could be partying with a drink in hand with our ice. We supply from small coffee shops, up to the global chains in the South West & South Wales & of course the biggest UK festivals. Our facility is powered over summer mostly by solar energy & we have spent years developing & building our company & brand & are the largest ice manufacturer in the South West of the UK.

Bottom Picture.... This is a back alley shed in Bristol where a company called Ice Mill started making ice back in 2021. A man called Jayanti Patel started it with a man Karman Ahmad. They copy & pasted text & pictures from other ice businesses around the world & word for word at the time copied the intro text from our website just change the name 'Jam Inns Ice' to 'Ice Mill' & made ice inside that garage. I went to see Jayanti at the time & got him to remove some of the text. I had some customers say to me some guy came round & said 'where do you get ice from' & they said 'Jam Inns Ice' & the guy said... 'yes,, that's us, we've rebranded'. Shocking the customer said they laughed it off but had to tell me. At the time I believe this is just an issue thats going to go away because I don't think customers would actually believe the website was real. Jayanti Patel has now left & Karman Ahmed is just doing this on his own. I had a few businesses in Bristol contact me before Christmas telling me they ordered from a guy & he has disappeared. I obviously knew who they were talking about & it certainly wasn't a surprise.

A couple of days ago I saw him back driving around Bristol in his dented up unbranded van & so I popped on to the website to find quite shockingly he's now copied almost identically my company logo just with his company name rather than mine but formatted identically. This is genuinely quite shocking the guy seems to have absolutely no shame whatsoever but it does present me an issue now where, they have been in the past going round telling customers they are Jam Inns Ice but rebranded & now he's copied the logo it's certainly concerning that customers could definitely be duped into believing this story.

So I feel I have no option but to publically confirm my company Jam Inns Ice has absolutely no connection to Ice Mill in Bristol which makes ice in the garage pictured below. Please be aware if you run a food business in Bristol or surrounding area & this man comes into your business saying he is Jam Inns Ice 'rebranded' this is not true & the ice is NOT made in our factory or any factory for that matter it is coming from the shed in the bottom right picture.

I have reported this to Bristol City Council & to Bristol Trading Standards & I have contacted & spoken to Karman & told him to remove the branding image but his response was just 'I not know what your talking about' 'no problem my friend' 'no problem for me'. So I have given him 14 days to remove this & then I will have to take court action against the business.

Please share if you run a hospitality business in Bristol & are buying in food products like ice that Ice Mill in the bottom picture is not clearly as described on the website but also of absolutely no association to my Bristol factory & Bristol City Council, Environmental Health & Trading Standards have all been informed so please consider the implications of getting ice from a trader like this.

The dreaded price rises are coming 1st February. Apologies we are having to put approx a 5% increases on bag pricing across all price bands for all deliveries taking place after 1st February 2024.

This is our FIRST price rise since 2011.

Just to throw some numbers out;
* Plastic bags have increased 40% since 2019
* Electric pricing has increased 400% from 2019
* Servicing, parts & maintenance of our factory approx 200% since 2019.
* Insurance, Labour costs & vehicle costs & maintenance have all significantly increased.

We understand to all our regulars consistency & stability in the supply chain is important to plan budgets so can also confirm there will be no further price increases for 2024 & 2025 after this 1st February increase.

We are currently discussing all major event contracts for 2024 so if your looking for large volume orders in tonnes get in touch now & we can plan out logistics, requirements, dates etc for your 2024 events.

Deliveries can be made with truck capacity of 1,400kg up to 26,000kg in single drops. Please note anything over 1,400kg would require onsite forklifts for pallet drops.
