MOVEMBER – MEN'S HEALTH MATTERS!

As November is coming soon....

This November, our Director Kieran is taking on the Movember challenge!

He's saying goodbye to his beard and growing a moustache throughout November to raise money and awareness for men's health!

Movember supports important causes including men's mental health, su***de prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

In the automotive industry, where men make up a large part of the workforce, it's important to encourage conversations about health and wellbeing.

Let's get behind Kieran and help him raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause!

MOT UPDATE – IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT LED HEADLIGHTS!

Have you upgraded your car's headlights from halogen bulbs to LEDs?

There are changes to the MOT guidance coming into effect from 14th October 2026, which could affect whether certain LED headlight conversions pass an MOT.

However, not all LED upgrades are automatically acceptable!

* LED bulbs must meet the relevant approval requirements.
* The headlight and bulb combination must be approved for use.
* Any required approval markings or labels must be present.

Fitted aftermarket LED bulbs? It's worth checking that your headlights meet the latest requirements before your next MOT.

Due to our continued growth, Vicarius Automotive is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team!

We're a growing, family-run independent garage based between Winterbourne and Bradley Stoke, Bristol.

Having expanded our workshop significantly over the past few years, we're looking for someone who shares our passion for the automotive industry, takes pride in their workmanship and wants to be part of a business that's continually moving forward.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲

As part of our workshop team, you'll be responsible for:

- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of makes and models.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying necessary repairs.
- Carrying out repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, cambelts and other mechanical components.
- Using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop technology.
- Completing accurate job cards and repair documentation.
- Working efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship and safety standards.
- Supporting your colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿

- NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) – Essential.
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
- Good mechanical knowledge and fault-finding abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Someone who takes pride in doing the job properly and delivering quality repairs.

MOT Tester qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
