Hi everyone. Sorry it's been so long since our last post but we're still trying to work out where the last two years have gone? Just wanted to let you know that we are still here, thankfully, and that our months of intermittent phone line issues now appear to have been resolved. UPDATE 22nd JULY 2020. The garage is now open from 11am to 5pm Monday to Friday for MOT’s ONLY. Please call the 01656 655097 number to book you appointment as other number is not working at the moment. Thanks

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to close the garage for the next two weeks. This will allow us to focus on adapting to the many changes being imposed on us by the government as a result of the Covid 19 crisis. We will still be available to our NHS and key worker customers should you need us. Just drop us a private message and we'll get back to you. Stay safe everyone.

FURTHER UPDATE

Following on from the DVSA decision announced today it is not necessary for vehicles to be MOT tested if their expiry date is the 30th March or later. The DVSA will be extending those MOT's by six months.

If your MOT expires BEFORE Monday the 30th March it WILL need an MOT. So please If you or someone you know needs an MOT done this week can you please book it in asap as we expect the remaining slots to fill up quickly.

Please share this information with contacts who are not on the garage page.

UPDATE......

From Monday 23rd March the garage will be opening from 11am to 5pm Monday to Friday for MOT's ONLY . Monday is already fully booked sorry!

Coronavirus or COVID-19

We are aiming to remain open for business for as long as we can to perform MOT's, good health and Government willing.

As we are temporarily down to one member of staff we are seeking your assistance to reduce the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus/COVID-19 to our workplace. Please comply with the social distancing protocol as advised by Public Health Wales.

PLEASE:

1. Make MOT bookings over the phone, rather than face to face, you can now request an MOT via our page or message with a phone number we can call you back when we can.
2. Only one person to bring in the vehicle. No children allowed on the premises.
3. Do not arrive more than 10 mins before your given appointment time.
4. Do not enter the workshop or approach staff. Please wait by the office and we will come to you.
5. If you are self-isolating (due to illness) please do not bring/send your vehicle to the garage.
6. Try to make payment with a card rather than cash. Our card payment machine will be regularly cleaned with antibacterial wipes. We can now also accept card payments over the phone.
7. Surfaces inside a car can harbour bacteria and we will be using seat covers, wearing gloves and wiping over the keys, steering wheel, gearstick, handbrake lever and door handles with antibacterial for our safety before the MOT.
8. Avoid remaining on our premises longer than absolutely necessary to comply with the social distancing protocol as advised by Public Health Wales.

We regret to inform all our customers that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the garage will be closed tomorrow the 17th March until at least the end of the week. We will update the page with any developments as and when we can.

Sorry to all today's customers but the garage is closed due to yet another stomach bug picked up at work. We can assure you that we are as disappointed as you are.

Can we please ask that customers please think before visiting the garage and remember that we have to examine both the inside and outside of vehicles during MOT's and some servicing work. Please please please, if you have been ill reschedule your visit rather than put our staff and other customers at risk. Thanks.
