Amazing what you find in ashtrays, after digging out screwed up paper and cigarette bits I managed to peel them apart slowly to reveal slo-poke lolly pop & double bubble gum wrappers which had there cartoons in! What a great find from the 60s???

That’s the lotus crayford cortina painted in lotus Galloway green, what a stunning colour in the sun! Off to the trimmer now then to get it running and driving so it can hit the road. Customer is chuffed to bits as his dream is coming true 👌🏼. Can’t wait to see this cruising the streets with the hood down. Electric mini roof grafted on and all working off a remote for ease of use. I hope you enjoy it Phil & thanks for trusting me with the project. Allot of head scratching went into this and my customer wasn’t even sure it could be done. Well pics speak for them selves.

That’s the Porsche beetle done and back to the customer, full custom with a 5 speed Porsche box and 6 cyclinder engine all hidden behind the original rear valance! Karmann ghia dash narrowed and grafted in, vented rear deck lid and bonnet on quick release clasps. Painted in horizon blue.

HUGE thanks to today for sorting the map on the caddy, now the dsg gearbox is smooth as silk and performance is perfect. 362.5bhp and 391lbft torque! It was a fun drive home.

That’s the 61 rag all welded and and paint blended ready to be built up. Got to redo the front wing as I’m not happy with it but then full build ahead!!
Thanks to Chris for helping with the welding.

That’s the new work van sorted, custom bumpers, side skirts, touran dash & door cards, custom touran/caddy mirrors, 2.0 TfsI golf R engine, dsg wired by , rs3 brakes, mk8 golf r seats, touran rear seat conversion, fully carpeted, interior trimmed in Alcantara by tunes by just a couple of bits left to do then enjoy it.
