Some rear ends just command attention. Fact.

Whether they’re in isolation, or amidst a crowd, you can’t say why… but they just grab an unhealthy amount of your attention and focus.

Currently for us… this stunning 996 GT2, the true of the first Porsches gets our vote for

Simply put. It’s a thing of true beauty.

This will be a hard one to 👋🏻 goodbye to when it finds its new keeper. But it’ll be great to watch it go too! 😉

This platform, from its 3.4 origins to its RS pinnacle, is something to behold.

A well sorted and cared for is something every should experience in their and every model delivers in a special way.

It might have been born from a commercial need to help save Porsche at the time, but history aside, we’re just glad we have these in our world!

It’s the 30th Anniversary of the model next year, so who’s planning to celebrate this 🎉

Their day is coming. 🍳

Like it’s older and more coveted siblings, we believe the day is coming.

With its next year and certain models already being passionately sought, the undercurrent suggests growing and is starting to happen.

We’re not market shapers or even analysts, but what we do know is the humble 996 platform is about as good as it gets, for a modern classic. Engaging, spirited, well balanced with performance that ranges from wonderfully usable to mind boggling - model dependent.

When you see these RSR track monsters and pause to appreciate their purposeful beauty. You can’t help but take inspiration and wonder how long will it be before we start seeing recreations of these out on the street and rolling into coffee mornings to applause.

It’s already happened with 964 and 993 homages… so let’s hope it continues across the 996 too.

Dreaming never hurt anyone… but it’d be great to see this dream come to life! 🔥

🌱 A garden party like no other 🪴…

…where the car isn’t the only star!

wasn’t only a celebration of all things

It was like a garden party of delights, and the addition of Architectural Plants Limited and their amazing array of planting🌱, just added to the architectural delights of the Boxengasse estate.

Just shows that ‘Porsches & Plants’ go perfectly together and have gifted us some genuine inspiration.

We’ll be taking off the driving gloves this and getting in the garden 🪏💚

Not even ‘man maths’ could be blamed for this perfect equation.

#2027 is the 30th anniversary of the evolution of the #911

This fine example is right at the pinnacle of 996 model line up.

An RS model, that in our mind, still has a healthy ceiling to grow to. As like its Turbo and GT2 stablemates… the magic of the 996 still isn’t appreciated by all.

But it’s definitely growing 💛

What does Porsche do really well?

Well the answer to this could be a very long list, but for us it’s simple.

It’s honouring their

Some dine out on yesteryear, some blatantly plagiarise their past… no names mentioned. 🤔

Yet Porsche effortlessly accentuates the distant memories of past greats and massages their DNA perfectly into the latest models.

Here’s the example. Two RS’s bookmarking the lineage from the 70’s to now.

On the road or track they exist in vastly different performance worlds… but that heritage, that lineage connects each of them, along with every RS model in between.

Where we’ve been, where we’ve gone.

Sometimes we see a set of pictures that just makes us stop in our tracks and reflect on where this journey with began and continues to take us.

50+ years later we’re still loving every second, servicing, renovating and creating on this amazing automotive platform.

26’ was the first ‘public’ outing of the beautifully restored Trinidad RS 🇹🇹 A model designation that shares our birth year and a car we have a lot of content coming on soon!

We then have the ‘crowd pleaser’ of this years event, the green 997 GTS. The car that answers ‘What if Porsche made a Touring spec model of the time?’

Both cars, vastly different entities and separated by many decades of development, share the single objective of meeting each owners vision for their Porsche.

We’re biased heavily, maybe a little big headed even… but seeing these two together, just makes us think - ‘You know what, we’re getting pretty good at this Porsche thing!’😉🤣
