Some jobs are work… this one was an absolute pleasure. ❤️

A 2004 BMW M3 Convertible that’s been stored away for years, finally getting the attention it deserves.

For me, this is pretty much the dream car. The shape, the engine, the era… everything about it is just right.

Getting the chance to carefully bring it back to life and see that finish return was one of those jobs I genuinely didn’t want to end.

What a car. What a privilege to work on. ✨

MAKE THE CAR YOUR OWN ✨

You've just bought a new car… but unfortunately the previous owner still seems to be included 😭

This one arrived from the dealer needing a LOT more attention than the customer expected.

So I spent the day removing someone else's dirt, grime and history and giving them the fresh start they should've had in the first place.

Because sometimes a car doesn't really feel like yours until someone else's life has been cleaned out of it. 🚗✨

Even a Rolls-Royce needs a bit of love sometimes…

This one had been neglected for far too long and the paintwork had completely lost the finish you'd expect from a car like this.

A proper polish, plenty of patience and slowly that Rolls-Royce shine started coming back. ✨

Luxury car or daily runaround — neglect doesn't discriminate. Luckily, neither do I. 😅

This really shouldn't be acceptable on a main dealer supplied used car.

This customer paid for their new car to be professionally prepared by the main dealer, but what I found tells a very different story.

Poor polishing, visible defects and a finish that simply doesn't reflect what they paid for.

I'm not naming the dealership because this isn't about publicly shaming one business — it's about highlighting something I'm seeing far too often.

When you're paying main dealer prices, you have every right to expect main dealer standards.

In my opinion, this customer was let down — and ultimately paid for a level of preparation they simply didn't receive.

Normal people on a Bank Holiday Monday: Relaxing, BBQ, maybe a trip out… ☀️

Me: Taking the wheels off my own car because the insides were bugging me 😭

Wheels off, barrels coated, calipers protected and wheel arches sorted.

Completely unnecessary? Probably.
Was I going to enjoy my day knowing they weren't done? Absolutely not. 💀😂

Not fresh dog spit. Oh no. This stuff has matured. It's developed character. Possibly structural integrity. 💀

Some products sit on the shelf for a few days...

This one sat in the van for over a year. 😭

I could never find the "right" car to try Soft99 Vortex on...

So on a Sunday I thought... why not finally use it on my own family car? 😂

Turns out I should've stopped saving it for the perfect job.

Bushwacker 🌿😂

The customer swears she didn't drive into any bushes...

So the only logical explanation is that the bushes drove into her. 😭

The paintwork looked like it had lost a fight with a hedge, but thankfully a careful polish turned the clock back. ✨

No bushes were harmed in the making of this detail... probably.

This Abarth came in looking like it'd spent one too many weekends arguing with country hedges... 🌿😭

The plan was simple: 8-hour detail, get it looking its best, then put it up for sale.

Eight hours later... the customer took one look at it and decided they couldn't bring themselves to sell it after all 😂❤️

I'd call that a successful detail. ✨

Step 1: Take the dogs to the beach.
Step 2: Let them get absolutely soaked.
Step 3: Put them back in the car before they do the world's biggest shake. 😭
