Young Driver

20/07/2026

Huge congratulations to Daniel who passed his driving test first time! 😍

After having completed the Young Driver curriculum with our instructor Myra from the Scotland team at the end of last year (10 hour lessons over a period of 4-5 years) he then went on to have 15 hours lessons on the road and passed first time with just 3 minors.

His mother said:
"We truly believe if it wasn’t for Young Driver and Myra he would still be learning. Myra installed so much confidence into him and he’s remained cool calm and collected since."

Well done Daniel and our warmest congratulations from the whole team at Young Driver 🥰

This week we have been to the football ... at Manchester United.

Working with the amazing Manchester United Foundation and Premier League Inspires, we delivered driving lessons, over two days, to students from 8 schools in the Manchester area.

Superbly organised by Niccola Massey and Tony Ensor students had the opportunity to get behind the wheel and have their first driving lesson in a safe, controlled environment.

For many of the young people involved, this wasn't just about learning to drive. It was about building confidence, developing responsibility, improving decision-making skills and gaining a greater understanding of road safety long before they become learner drivers.

At Young Driver, we believe that safer drivers start sooner, and partnerships like this help us reach young people who may not otherwise have access to these life-changing experiences.

A huge thank you to everyone involved, especially the students, whose enthusiasm and willingness to learn made both days such a success.
