We had this 2024 Ferrari Roma Spider for a few days courtesy of Charles Hurst Ferrari Belfast , and it’s a much better car than people give it credit for..

612bhp, twin-turbo V8, 8-speed dual clutch. Completely silent and effortless on the motorway but absolutely alive the moment you press the accelerator. The sound of the turbos spooling alone is worth the price of admission.

All weathers and all terrains, it’s a perfectly usable daily driver. It doesn’t mind the rain, but at the same time it doesn’t let you forget that it’s rear wheel drive once you get going. A perfect example of what a modern sports car should feel like.

Through the country roads of Ireland with the roof down on a sunny day, there are CONSIDERABLY worse ways to spend your money.
