Just a we clue for what to expect from services as Iv found a lot of people don’t know what gets done an didn’t know that there is differnt ones
Id recommend
interim service/oil an filter every 5/6 k
Full service/minor every 10/12k usually with MOT as easier to remember
Major service every couple years 20k ish all down to manufacturer specifications just a we thing to help people hopefully understand abit more Iv the past while Iv seen cars in a very bad way due to lack of maintenance!

Customer contacted late last night me complaining off battery light on steering gone very heavy after a quick inspection I found the alternator pulley had broke off we work late an got the customer back on the road for work in the morning we will always try an help as best as we can we work late to always help our customers

Customer came to me asking could they check the car over an told me that’s it’s alrdy been serviced etc upon inspection I did a full health report I took the oil filter out to as the car looked liked it hadn’t been looked at in a while an this is what I found! The service book was stamped miles wrote down an service light reset customer only bought the car just over 1k ago an was told it was just serviced couple days befor he got it!

So just goes to show use there still some c***s out there scamming people make sure u trust ur mechanic as these r the type of ones giving us a bad name
