On Friday at an unbearably hot 🥵 Rugby DTC a pupil of mine, let's call him Alun Wyn, passed his driving test (at the first time attempt (this time around)).

The silly sausage 🌭 fell foul of the new drivers act (1995) and had his licence revoked for obtain 6 points within two years.

That meant he had to reapply for his provisional, do his theory all over again and then pass the test all over.

All that effort and money so if you've recently passed don't find yourself in the same position as him, be safe out there and use the skills your instructor taught you.

That being said I firmly believe I won't be seeing my pupil in a professional capacity again so well done Alun Wyn and congratulations 🎉 on becoming number 9️⃣ of my class 🎓 of 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣

🦅 Meet the Players: Part 5 - Rubee Johnson

If there's space out wide and a try line in sight, chances are Rubee Johnson is already heading towards it.

A winger blessed with genuine pace and a natural eye for the try line, Rubee enjoyed a standout season last year, finishing as the team's top try scorer and picking up the Coaches' Player of the Season award. An impressive achievement for any player, made even more remarkable by the fact she was the youngest member of the squad at the time.

Rubee attends Avon Valley School, our valued partner school, and has made a huge impact since joining the Eagles. Her confidence, work rate and finishing ability have seen her become one of the team's most dangerous attacking threats.

Off the pitch, Rubee is a hugely popular member of the squad whose positive attitude and personality make her an important part of the Eagles family.

With speed to burn and plenty more potential still to come, we're excited to see what she achieves next.

Congratulations 🎉 to Courtney who today at a slightly drizzly 🌧️ Coventry DTC passed her test 🚗 at the first 🥇 time of asking!

Courts has been absolutely class in all her lessons and always gave it her all 💯

Congratulations 🎉 to Erin who yesterday at a dreary overcast 🌨️ Rugby DTC put some sunshine 🌞 in her day by passing her driving 🚗 test!

Erin has been a model pupil and has worked very hard throughout our time together, always giving 💯% so this is nothing less than she deserves!

I wish Erin all the very best for the future as she's about to do her A-levels 📖, join her local rugby team 🏉 🤣🤣 then start University!

In my life away from work I am a team manager at Newbold-On-Avon RFC and last Saturday I had the honour of presenting my sponsored player and friend Kyle Smith with his red club tie. Kyle received this for making a significant number of first XV appearances this season
