Arrived at this job back in February to find the vehicle still smouldering after a major electrical fire. The damage was extensive, and it was completely unable to start, so it was recovered back to the customer’s premises.
Pretty much everything had been affected – ACM, temperature sensors, NOx sensors, pressure sensors, main wiring loom, exhaust system loom, AdBlue pipe, metering valve, AdBlue pump, coolant lines… the list went on.
What followed was a long process that, at times, I genuinely didn’t think would ever come together. After months of sourcing both new and used parts, countless hours rebuilding the exhaust after-treatment system, and a lot of perseverance, it’s great to finally see this vehicle back where it belongs – out working again.
