We’ve built a great relationship with Connor over many years (great name by the way 😄), so it’s fantastic to now be able to bring his expertise directly to our customers.

This doesn’t change anything with our current TRS Performance offerings—this is simply another high-quality option we can now provide. It also means any existing Devine customers now have access to support right here in the Southwest.

Are you looking for a one stop shop to have your S58 powered vehicle tuned/modified? Over the last 6 months customers have been taking advantage of our services, allowing us to carry out the remote ECU unlock required, tuning and additional modifications where requested.

Utilising Autotuners mail in ECU unlock service we have been aiming for a 3 to 5 day maximum turn around from start to finish. This includes removing your ECU, having it shipped, returned, refitted, vehicle bolted to the Dyno and custom tuned. These times may vary depending on additional modifications required, such as midpipes, downpipes, hybrid turbos and ethonal sensors.

Here is an example of an M3 we completed last week, this customer also opted for XHP gearbox tuning alongside the custom TRS performance software. Not only did this vehicle produce extremely healthy figures on the Dyno (640bhp and 890nm torque), it has been backed up by a seriously impressive low 6 second 100-200KPH in extremely poor weather conditions and a full boot. This is a completely stock hardware vehicle.

That’s yet another cambelt filled week ticked off✅

In between multiple tuning jobs this week, the workshop has been rammed full of cambelts every single day. Mostly, of course the ST180 variants but we also threw a 1.25 zetec in the mix and a transit wetbelt to finish the week off!

It’s always interesting carrying out health checks on vehicles whilst they are on the ramp as you never know what you may find and more importantly finding defects you as the owners are completely unaware about!

This week that ranged from, timing being incorrect, ball joint pinch bolts being loose, driveshaft horseshoe clamps being missing, coolant clips not even attached to rubber hoses, brake pads being fitted to the incorrect sides, downpipes poorly fitted, axle bushes in extremely poor condition and the list goes on!

This Tiguan R came in for a serious OEM+ upgrade and left transformed.

✅ RacingLine R600 intake bundle (intake hose + turbo elbow)
✅ RacingLine intercooler
✅ Milltek sports cat downpipe

Finished off perfectly with a RacingLine OEM+ Stage 2 ECU calibration and TCU tuning, seeing gains of almost 450bhp and 580Nm of torque — all while retaining that factory-refined feel.

Always nice to see returning customers visiting for some maintenance work and upgrades!

After being STG3 on an S280 for the last 5 years, the stock clutch was still holding on with no real signs of major slippage. Though once the gearbox was out for the fitment of the quaife L*D it would only make sense to fit a brand new ST200 clutch and slave cylinder.

Gearbox stripped, cleaned and reassembled before refitting into the vehicle then refilled with Motul 75WFE gearbox fluid🥳

The customer also opted for a routine oil and filter service, using a genuine Ford oil filter and Motul 5W30 oil, we also completed a brake fluid flush with RBF660 and this also included flushing the hydraulic clutch system.

After its 500 mile recommended bedding in procedure, this vehicle is now ready for many more years of reliability and increased fun/performance with its upgrades😎

🎄 Christmas Closure Announcement 🎄

As we wrap up another busy and exciting year at H-Sport Performance, we’d like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of our customers for your continued support. Your trust in us is what drives everything we do, and we’re incredibly grateful to have such a loyal community behind us.

Despite not posting as much as we would have liked this year, it’s been another record year for us, with the team working flat out behind the scenes on customer builds and further development.

After such a busy period, our team will be taking a well-earned break over the festive season.

Arguably, the most eye appealing colour MK8.5 ST! Taking advantage of our Black Friday savings, this customer brought his ST down for the best ‘bang for buck’ upgrades you can do on this platform of car.

A full height Airtec intercooler with colour coded logo, accompanied by a TRS STG1 tuning session on the Dyno. The stock intercooler really is the weakest link on the MK8’s (as long as you don’t have the dreaded wastegate bush failure). When tuning with a stock intercooler the power deficit after multiple runs becomes very apparent, but with its new hardware addition this was no longer an issue.

Tuning wise was text book, good quality fuel and some chilly winter air to feed the new intercooler it produced 256BHP and 394NM. We say these are the best modifications because it doesn’t draw any unwanted attention from a silly loud exhaust and produces just as much useable power!
