🚗🎉 **FIRST TIME PASS FOR MACY!** 🎉🚗

A very early and very wet morning, but that didn’t stop Macy from absolutely smashing her driving test today — passing first time with just ONE driver fault! 🌟

If I’m honest, the result was never really in doubt. Even with those inevitable last-minute nerves and butterflies, you’ve been driving at such a high standard for a long time now. Today was simply the day you got the result you deserved.

I’d heard so much about you before we’d even started lessons, having taught so many of your friends first! I knew how excited you were to finally get behind the wheel when your birthday arrived, and from that moment on you’ve shown nothing but determination. Week after week, you turned up ready to learn, improve and make sure that when test day came, you’d be more than ready.

Teaching you has been an absolute pleasure. You’ve always listened, taken on board every bit of constructive feedback and used it to make yourself an even better driver. That attitude is exactly why you’ve achieved this fantastic result today.

A massive shout-out also goes to your mum for all the extra practice and support along the way. 👏 I told her this morning that you’ve been amazing throughout and are a real credit to her. Having that support outside of lessons makes such a difference, and together you’ve made a fantastic team.

It’s honestly been so easy teaching you, and while I’ll genuinely miss our weekly lessons, I’m delighted that your car is ready and waiting for you to enjoy your newfound freedom.

With prom, holidays and plenty of exciting times ahead, I’m sure having your licence will make life that little bit easier. I can’t wait to see you out and about on the roads soon.

Huge congratulations to Tom who smashed his driving test FIRST TIME today in Ayr with ZERO driving faults.

A zero fault pass is incredibly rare and is proof of just how hard you’ve worked throughout your lessons. You’ve shown great attitude from day one and always came ready to learn and improve.

You’ve been driving at test standard for a while now, so today’s result came as no surprise. Calm, confident and completely in control from start to finish — a proper top class drive.

Big thanks as well to mum and dad for all the support and private practice along the way. It makes such a difference and today showed exactly why.

It’s been brilliant teaching you and getting to know you over the months. I’ll miss the laughs and football chats every week!

A FABULOUS FIRST TIME PASS FOR MADELINE IN AYR 🎉🚗

Huge celebrations today for Madeline, who smashed her driving test in Ayr with just 4 small driver faults — an incredible result! It was an amazing drive from start to finish, and I was proud to be able to watch it all unfold from the back seat.

From the very beginning, I’ve seen your confidence grow, your knowledge develop, and your driving go from strength to strength. You’ve brought so much energy to every lesson, always eager to learn and determined to take in every step needed to make this moment happen.

It’s been a real journey, and one that’s paid off in the best way possible today. Your commentary drive worked an absolute treat and even had both me and your examiner, Steve, smiling — what more could we ask for!

I’ve really enjoyed our weekly catch-ups and hearing all your stories along the way. Today you kept those nerves in check and delivered exactly what we both knew you were capable of.

For someone who normally panics at even the mention of the word “test,” I know how big a deal today felt for you—but honestly, it was never in doubt. You’ve been driving like a dream for weeks now, building confidence every lesson, and today was just about trusting yourself, settling the nerves, and showing exactly what you can do… which you did brilliantly. And I think it’s fair to say the Rescue Remedy definitely earned its keep today too! 😄

From day one to test day, you’ve been an absolute pleasure—always up for a laugh, always giving it your all, and making every lesson genuinely enjoyable. That mix of hard work, determination, and good humour is exactly why this result feels so well deserved. I’ll genuinely miss our weekly catch-ups and the laughs along the way, but seeing you head out onto the roads with your own licence is what it’s all about.

Last official day at school yesterday and now a full driving licence in your pocket… what a week that is! A proper milestone moment. No doubt there are plenty of trips to McDonald’s and Taco Bell coming your way—and maybe even finally repaying all those lifts you owe Scarlett and Flora 😂.

🎉 TREMENDOUS TUESDAY FOR JIM – FIRST TIME PASS IN AYR! 🎉

Massive congratulations to Jim on an incredible first-time pass today in Ayr, with just 2 driver faults – an excellent and well-deserved result!

From start to finish, this journey has been an absolute pleasure. Anyone who knows you will agree, the phrase “laid back” could have been written about you. Your calm and composed approach made every lesson feel easy (well… apart from the occasional one you didn’t wake up for 😂).

You’ve proven yourself to be a fantastic driver, and today’s result is a true reflection of that. It’s been great getting to know you along the way, and I’m glad you can now get that camping trip sorted without letting the boys down!

On a personal note, this also marks my 150th driving test pass — a milestone I’m proud of — but moments like this are always about the hard work and success of my pupils, and today is all about you 👏

🎉🎉 AN OUTSTANDING FIRST TIME PASS FOR SOPHIE IN AYR 🥳🥳

Some passes just hit that little bit harder — and today was definitely one of those! I am absolutely over the moon for Sophie, who smashed her driving test FIRST TIME with just 2 driver faults 👏🔥

This result hasn’t come by chance. It’s been built on hard work, consistency, and a real determination to get things right. From day one, Sophie brought a brilliant attitude to every lesson — always keen to learn, always pushing to improve, and never settling for “just okay.” Today’s drive was proof that all that effort has well and truly paid off 💪

We quickly found that commentary driving was the secret weapon (and no — the examiner didn’t think we were completely bonkers 😂😂). It made such a difference to awareness and confidence, and you absolutely nailed it when it mattered most.

It’s been an absolute pleasure teaching you — plenty of laughs along the way, and I’m really glad you trusted the process and, more importantly, trusted yourself. There’s been a few changes in your life since we started, but one thing never changed: your determination to earn that independence 🚗✨

And now… no more 5am lifts for Mum — she’s officially been promoted to passenger princess, with a taxi on demand! 🥳😂

🚗💨 FIRST TIME PASS FOR DANNY IN AYR! 💨🚗

After a seriously early start this morning, it was all smiles for Danny as he smashed his driving test FIRST TIME with just 2 driver faults 👏🔥

The pressure was well and truly on today – following in family footsteps and trying to outdo his mates… but Danny delivered, and did it in style too 😎

It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you. You’ve been calm, steady, and completely unflappable throughout (apart from when we spotted the examiner driving to work 🤣). Getting you to this stage has been an easy job because of the attitude you’ve brought every lesson.

Now the licence is yours, everything changes – no more buses, no more lifts… just pure independence, and it’s fully deserved 🙌

Enjoy the car shopping… although let’s be honest, anything with four wheels and an engine will do if it gets you out on the road! 😂

Just one bit of advice for the future… when using a sat nav, it helps if you actually listen to it… otherwise you might never arrive 🤣
