Learning to drive? Make sure you know how to navigate rural roads. π³π
Last year we made some minor changes to the driving test to make it more reflective of the everyday conditions motorists face.
This means you may spend more time on higher speed, higher risk roads β such as rural roads β while on your driving test, where location allows.
If you're a learner, make sure you practise driving on a variety of roads, not just town centres and dual carriageways. If you're supervising a learner, it's worth brushing up on your knowledge and skills too.
These roads present real challenges that need to be learned, not just guessed at. β
