All hands on the tread. 🔧
This is John. He fits tyres at RDS AutoCayr and he's very good at it.
He would like to get every other Saturday off but he needs a pal.
We're looking for a tyre fitter to share the workload - and the alternate Saturdays -with John. This isn't just a tyre role either. There's real opportunity here to get trained up across other areas of the garage for the right person.
We're a family-run garage in Ayr. We look after our team. We do things properly.

Meet Stevie.
For years he travelled the UK with work - fitting out, construction, never in the same place for long.
He was good at it. But he missed home. His family. Ayrshire.
When a job came up at RDS AutoCayr he asked if he could work a shorter week to make up for lost time at home.
Daniel and Sam said yes.
That was a year ago.
He's been here ever since - putting in the odd extra day when the team needs him, because that's just what Stevie does.
Sometimes the right job finds you at exactly the right time. 🔧

Scotland kick off their tournament on Sunday at 2am. ⚽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
We'll be open on Monday but Daniel's kept the book clear to catch up on things.
That said if you've been celebrating, probably best to give your system a minute to clear before getting behind the wheel.
The car keys can hang up for one more day. We'll still be here Tuesday. 😄
Coffee machine will be on regardless.

We've been trying to get a photo of Callie for months.
Jordan finally got one. 😄
Callie runs reception at RDS AutoCayr. She answers the phone, remembers your name, listens to what's wrong with your car, and works out how long the team will actually need - not how long it would be convenient to say.
She also, it turns out, has opinions about being photographed.

Someone came in this week expecting to pay for a new tyre.
It was just a puncture.
We fixed it. Cost them a fraction of what they were bracing for.
They've been driving for 54 years. They said they'd never had a garage tell them they needed less work done than they thought.
That's not a story we tell about ourselves. That's a customer telling it for us.
