We thought due to the sun being out you lot were busy doing better things than call us. Turns out we are having a few technical issues.

DUE TO NEW INFORMATION as of June 2026., we are not able to recommend any Renault pre-mix coolant for ICE engines. We are moving to aftermarket as my initial statement was based on poor information from Renault regarding the situation.

From my research the issue looks to be the more modern formula of Type E has less corrosion inhibitors than old Type D (25% vs 44.5%). New Renault type D is not suited for European ICE engines. Renault is supplying dealers with old type D for servicing only. This seems to be an issue with modern coolant formulas as newer engines dont seem to have the manufacturer requirement for high concentration of inhibitors.

Renault have reverted their coolant recommendation. Type-D is back for use on all petrol and diesel engines with the Type-E only for EV models. We'd recommend if you are coming up to a service and are currently running Type-E to do a coolant flush back to the Type D.

Our Grams exhaust mounts are back in stock. Now with ears!!

Did you want your engine mount to be mans best friend as well as hold your exhaust? If so we've made this for you.

After some customer feedback we've added some retaining ears to make sure the exhaust mount stays in place even if your engine mounts need changing and your engine bangs against your subframe as you accelerate.

As many noticed our website was down over the weekend. We have identified the issue as customers typing their email addresses incorrectly and then the website getting in a death loop trying to resend rejected emails. It overloaded the server and went offline.

We are going to see what we can do to the server code to stop this happening again.

If you were trying to place an order over the weekend then everything is up and running.

Its end of the week so heres a dull service update!

Its been challenging to say the least. Theres been a number of frustrating courier delays and orders haven't flowed out the door as fast as I'd have liked as you got me packing orders! Hopefully I'm ending the week nearly up to date, with outstanding international orders being packed this evening, however if you've emailed and not had a reply I will get to you in the next day or two.

On the positive, you guys have continued to support us with lots of great orders so thanks for keeping us busy!

On a complete sidenote I do need a single OZ 16" superleggera wheel for a Clio 182. If anyone knows of a wheel or a part set sitting around, i'm interested.

January ends and we are now fully out the old unit. We've stayed 85% operational all through January with late afternoons, evenings and weekends spent moving pallets and boxes across but its done! Theres a lot to sort and organise but we'll find our groove quick enough. Certainly looking forward to some normality to resume.

£6 a bottle for high quality GL5 gearbox oil! I have a lot of these to clear out the old unit. The Motul Gear 300 is mainly for more modern gearboxes using GL5 but can be run on some GL4 as it has an inhibitor to stop degradation of brass sychros however I'd recommend a proper GL4 for any Renault gearbox like Redline. This deal will run to the end of the month.

We are heading into 2026 with a fresh start! I have spent the last two weeks packing up and moving to a brand new unit.

Our new address is now 4D Marsh Hill Farm.

Theres a few teething troubles to be had. Telephone lines have not yet been moved and will only be completed on the 13th January.
This means if you need to call you will need to use a temporary mobile number 07793 144833. This will only be turned on during business hours. After the 13th we should have our landline again. I will be updating the website tonight with that information.

Theres still a lot of pallets to unpack but I'm hoping I can remember which is which so customer orders ship out fast.

We are working through the weekend so we can start packing orders on Monday to clear orders placed over the Christmas holiday. I will also be catching up on email as fast as I can.
