Why Chicken Shed Motorcycles?
I like BSA Bantams, A Motorcycle, but also a breed of Chicken. I keep the Bantams in my shed, hence Chicken Shed Motorcycles.
I designed a logo and put it on a T Shirt.

I’ve had some stainless steel ‘Hammer head’ fork bottom brackets laser cut and formed as I couldn’t find any decent forks only the earlier straight bottom legs.
They clamp on under the wheel nut, or could be welded to the brand new stainless legs which are available elsewhere.
I’m going to fit these to my 54 D3 Green lane bike in the coming week so will post more photos when I’m done.

I’ve got another product on offer to I just need time to finish fitting then I’ll post them on here too.

I’ve had some early style bottom fork nuts turned up, reverse engineered from an original unused set I found on eBay a long while back.
I’m keeping the originals for my 1948 Bantam, but selling the 5 pairs I had machined.
If you’re interested they’re first come first served, £56 a pair. Incl postage in the UK.

The dull pair are the originals, the shiny ones are the ‘copies’ they’re stainless steel, a couple have some minor scuffs from the chick on the lathe.

I’m hoping to fit mine onto my bike in the next few days.

That’s another one started, 1958 D5, bought for a tank, and the tank wasn’t a D5 one either, now I’ve got a frame and a load of parts to assemble.
Maybe I should finished the 48 D2 and Trail Bronc tribute first?
Nuts and bolts missing now, so can’t get much further without going to rummage through the nut & bolt trays at work.

Wheel in, mudguard almost done, spare engine in place for chain/wheel/mudguard alignment, getting excited now, want to see it finished and get it registered, not long now……. Hopefully!

Wheels are on, trued and tyred, need some handlebars so I can roll it around. Need to spray the cream panel on the tank and start building the engine. #1948

Got this one started again yesterday, needs a mini service then can get back out again.
1962 B40 with a 1969 B25 engine until I can find a decent B40 engine.
