A superb day with the SCC community! The member drivers and passengers enjoyed an exhilarating early morning route through the Surrey Hills before arriving at Steer Luxury Soth for an exclusive, behind the scenes tour.

Members were given a guided by Darren Doubtfire, discussing the intricate technical aspects of luxury car repair with members who truly appreciate automotive engineering and our specialist facility.

Fantastic week of training with the Steer Luxury team! 🚗✨ We focused on mastering pastel and pastel metallic colours, ensuring tailored, hands-on support for our painters to deliver perfect, high-quality finishes using Glasurit 100 line.

Huge appreciation to the painters for their incredible engagement and dedication, and a big thank you to Mick Irvine and Chris Marshall from BASF for leading a productive and fruitful training session. Together with BASF Glasurit, we are driving excellence in our refinish and technical paint expertise.

A Phenomenal Week at the WorldSkills UK Finals 2025!

Steer Automotive Group proudly celebrates the incredible achievements of our apprentices, Harley Chambers and Keeley Tait, at the WorldSkills UK National Finals 2025. 🥳

Representing Steer with exceptional talent, professionalism, and dedication, both Harley and Keeley secured their place among the top six apprentices in the UK for Body Repair and Automotive Refinishing. This is an extraordinary accomplishment, and every single one of us across the Steer network is immensely proud of them.

Fresh from her recent success at the ABP Awards—where she was crowned Apprentice of the Year—Keeley continued to shine on the national stage, taking home a silver medal 🥈 at tonight’s ceremony. Her drive, resilience, and consistency never fail to inspire us. Truly exceptional. 🙌

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our incredible Steer Academy Team, whose dedication, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to developing young talent have been instrumental in helping both Harley and Keeley reach this level. Their support creates an environment where apprentices can learn, grow, and excel. 🌟

A special thank you also goes to the Steer South Region and the respective site teams who support Harley and Keeley day in and day out—your guidance, encouragement, and hands-on expertise play a vital role in shaping their skills and confidence.
