We took this van and completely transformed it with a fresh paint job, rear seats, a new side window, colour-coded bumpers and a fresh set of wheels to finish it off.

A proper transformation that proves you don’t need to start with a high-spec van to create something special. 🚐✨

It like Saying goodbye to a good friend👋

Originally we cared for this Van for weddings and events catering, which we later purchased and used for our own business.

but the time came where we had to say goodbye.

It’s been a great Vehicle and we look forward to seeing you out and about in the future.

Some of you will recognise this old girl… our High Roller T5. 👊

When she came to us, most people would have written her off. Instead, we rescued her, gave her a new lease of life, and put her straight to work doing what she does best.

Since then, she’s been a loyal part of the Surrey Auto Works family, carrying parts, tools and projects all over the country without missing a beat. For a van that’s now covered an incredible 447,000 miles, we really can’t complain. She’s earned every single one of them.

But as one chapter closes, another begins. We’ve got an exciting new project on the horizon, and we think it’s finally time for the High Roller to move on.

The funny thing is… something tells us her story isn’t over yet. We’d love to see her continue her journey with someone who appreciates what she’s all about.

Rust never wins… 💪🔧

This Classic Mini Cooper has definitely seen better days, but that’s exactly the kind of challenge we love taking on. We’re currently cutting out all the corrosion and replacing it properly to give this iconic little car the solid foundations it deserves.

Don’t worry though—we’ve got all the replacement panels on the way from Bull Motif Mini Spares, so the rebuild is well underway. 👌

We were supplied the restoration parts from our good friends at Drive Heritage Parts Centre, ensuring it was rebuilt to the highest standard.

New to the Surrey Autoworks family, this VW Transporter has had quite the life! 🍻 Once used for brewery deliveries down in Cornwall, it’s now starting a whole new chapter.

We treated it to a fresh set of coilovers and shocks to dial in the stance, fitted a short shift kit for a much slicker driving experience, and sorted out a diesel leak while it was with us.

A few simple upgrades can completely transform the way these vans look and drive. 👌
This one still needs to work and tow, so we couldn’t go too low 😉

Nothing spoils the interior of a classic VW GTI quite like a sagging headlining! 😩

A customer recently brought their VW Golf GTI to us after the original headlining had started to drop, making a real mess of the interior. We stripped out the old headlining, removed all of the tired original material, and completely re-trimmed it before carefully refitting everything to give the cabin a fresh new lease of life.

All of this was carried out during the recent heatwave, so working inside a black car certainly wasn’t the easiest job! 🥵 But the effort was well worth it, and the finished result completely transformed the interior.

The customer was absolutely over the moon, and so were we. Swipe through to see some of the photos we took along the way and the final result! 👌
