Going away on a trip with the family and need more space? Spaces are opening up again now we are past the 11th of July. Any enquires (That are not next day!), please forward your fitting and removal dates, your car registration as well as a photo of your roof if possible, should you need roof bars too. We don’t have all the kits but we can obtain.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL. We are now in holiday season, just let us know the date for fitting, date for removal, the car registration number and we will see what we can do, fitting/removal in Altens.

Hi Folks,

We will soon be entering the month of July which as you will know is the school holidays.

Now I was recently in hospital having a brain tumour removed which caused a bleed on the brain in October 2025. Thanks to a kindly neighbour and my wife, Aberdeen Roof Box Hire has managed to continue. The summer holidays are by far the busiest time. We will endeavour to fit and deliver all bars and boxes as per order received though please be patient. Please E-Mail or Facebook message rather than phone with your fitting, removal time, your car reg number and where possible, a photo of the roof where your enquiry will be put in a queue.

What will help is receiving all enquiries for the month of June asap. I will have to prioritise those who have existing orders. Any potential customers who enquire for a box and bars in July 2026 for a fitting for box and bars in the same month will have to be patient and prepare that I may or may not be able to do. We will get to you when we can with good or bad news.

Aberdeen Roof Box Hire will, go, ahead for Christmas 2025.

Please note however that you the customer will fit the equipment whether it is bars or box or both.

Neither Ewan, his wife or daughter will fit or remove the equipment. This will be down to the customer.

Please note, we will resume services for fitting and removal for next year. Please state your car reg and photo of your roof if enquiring.

Please note if any kits are required in, we may not get them in time.

Ewan’s operation was a success but is still having trouble walking but all going well, in 2026, this should not be a problem.

All pre-operation existing orders will be dealt with as per acknowledgements. Mr Morgan or Mr Morgan’s family, will be involved in these fittings.

Aberdeen Roof Box Hire will, sadly, not be in full operation for Christmas 2025.

This is due to Ewan having undergone a vital operation, which, although successful, will require further recouperation and rehabilitation. This will be looked at again in 4 weeks’ time in the hope that Ewan’s recovery is speedy and successful.

All going well, the owner Ewan Morgan will be back in 2026 and in all hope Aberdeen Roof Box Hire will continue as normal then.

All existing orders will be dealt with as per acknowledgements. Mr Morgan or Mr Morgan’s family, will be involved in these fittings.

IMPORTANT - ABERDEEN ROOF BOX HIRE WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER 2025. WE WILL BE TAKEN ORDERS FOR EARLY DECMBER 2026 AND NEXT YEAR. TO REITTIRATE, ROOF BOX HIRE IS GOING NO WHERE. I WILL HAVE A PRIVATE MEDICAL OPERATION IN EDINBURGH IN EARLY OCTOBER. ANYONE WITH EXISTING ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF NOW AND I WILL BE IN TOUCH.
