🚛 CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER – STEPFRAME / PLANT & MACHINERY
UK & European Work | Approx. £50,000 Average Annual Earnings
We’re looking for an experienced **Class 1 (CE) HGV Driver** to join our team, operating a stepframe trailer transporting plant, machinery, vehicles and specialist loads throughout the UK and Europe.
This isn't a typical driving job.
If you’re looking to reverse onto a bay, sit waiting to be tipped and be home every night, this probably isn’t the job for you.
If you enjoy a challenge, like figuring things out for yourself and take pride in doing a job properly, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
THE JOB
• Class 1 articulated vehicle with stepframe trailer
• Transporting plant, machinery, vehicles and specialist loads
• Loading, unloading and securing your own loads
• UK and European work
• Monday–Friday, with the occasional weekend when required
• Average of **4 nights away per week**
• Working directly with customers at collection and delivery points
• No two days are the same
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Class 1 (CE) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Passport and ability to travel throughout Europe
• Good understanding of load security
• Plant, machinery or low-loader experience preferred, **but not essential
• Someone practical who can think on their feet
• Someone comfortable working independently and solving problems
• A driver who takes pride in their truck, equipment and standard of work
