🚗Why are UK drivers turning *off* safety features? A new survey reveals a massive 41% are actively disabling systems designed to keep them safe! Car satisfaction has dropped by over 5% in just two years, with "annoying" tech being a key culprit.

Many drivers are finding modern cars too complicated, preferring physical buttons over endless touchscreen menus. This isn't just about convenience – it's about frustration on our roads. 41% of drivers disable active safety systems. Satisfaction with safety features is down nearly 8%. Infotainment user-friendliness dropped from 87.8% to 81.4%.

Imagine trying to adjust your heating on the motorway, swiping through menus rather than a simple dial. That's the reality for many, and it's sparking a big debate. With Euro NCAP now rewarding manufacturers for bringing back physical controls, it seems change might be on the horizon.

Booking your driving test? Make sure you’re doing it the right way. ✅

Since 12 May, it has been against the law for anyone but the learner driver to book a driving test. Using unofficial apps, bots or automated tools also breaks the terms and conditions of our booking service.

We've already cancelled 450 tests where tests have been booked outside the new rules – and we're continuing to monitor activity closely. 💪

If misuse of the booking system is identified, we can cancel your booking and suspend your ability to manage your test online.

Our priority is to make the system fair for every learner and to stop you being exploited by third parties. The only way to book and manage a test is through GOV.UK. 💻
