I know you have all been waiting patiently to hear what decision we are going to make about racing this Saturday. We can't argue with a forecast of 100% rain, even though it's so nice out this evening (Friday Night).

We are going to cancel Saturday, June 20th racing at EIR which also includes the Test Drives on Saturday Morning at 9 am and Test Drives on Sunday at 12 noon.

We will be rescheduling the Roy Ross Memorial and will announce that date soon.

Try to keep dry everyone. I really hate to have another rain out - so sad!

Supporting 50/50 groups at Edmonton International Raceway is one of the most meaningful ways fans can give back while enjoying race day. These groups, local charities, youth programs, community clubs, and service organizations depend on the generosity of race fans to continue the important work they do in our region.

When you take part in the 50/50, you’re not just entering for a chance to win. You’re helping fund programs that support families, youth development, community wellness, and grassroots initiatives that make Wetaskiwin and the surrounding region stronger. It’s a true win‑win: fans get the excitement of the draw, and local groups receive the boost they need to keep making a difference.

This Saturday, support this week’s 50/50 group "Wetaskiwin Lions Club.” The Wetaskiwin Lions Club was founded in 1958 with 23 members and has grown to 43 members today. Sponsored by the Camrose Lions Club, it has a long history of community service, fundraising, and supporting local projects. Key achievements include funding community facilities, providing a Handi-Van, collecting eyeglasses and hearing aids, sponsoring the Millet and District Lions Club, becoming a co-ed club in 1992, and operating the Wetaskiwin Lions RV Campground. The club remains an active contributor to the Wetaskiwin community.

Here are our winners from Saturday, June 13 races! We were proud to celebrate our First Responders and Healthcare Workers during our First Responder/Healthcare Appreciation Night! We also helped celebrate a very special birthday for our favorite mascot, Ricky Doggy!
