OEM+ doesn't mean stock. It means everything works together.

Daniel's MK7.5 Golf R came to us with a clear goal: retain the refinement and drivability that make the platform so enjoyable, while unlocking performance on a different level.

The build is deceptively subtle:
- Garrett G25-660 turbo (PMax Stg2)
- Factory MPI with 980cc injectors
- FlexFuel
- Brushless low-pressure fuel pump
- OEM intake
- OEM cat-back exhaust

Even the turbo speed was monitored, allowing us to calibrate the engine to stay within the turbo's safe operating range while extracting excellent performance.

Using the COBB Tuning Accessport, we developed both the ECU and DSG calibrations in-house, delivering a car that drives like a factory Golf R during everyday commuting, yet transforms the moment you squeeze the throttle.

425 WHP on pump gas.
516 WHP on E50.

The numbers are impressive, but what makes this build special is how composed it feels and the attention to detail. Predictable throttle response. Refined shifting. OEM-level drivability with substantially more performance.

This is what OEM+ means to us: respecting the engineering that made the Golf R great while thoughtfully and thoroughly extending its capabilities.

Your car. Your sound.

Our latest Focus ST overrun feature lets you choose the crackle profile that matches your mood—all from the 5 map slots on the COBB Tuning Accessport.

Live on stratifiedauto now!

• Quiet for the daily commute
• Mild burbles for spirited driving
• Aggressive crackles when you want to turn heads

Switch between them in seconds without reflashing the ECU.

We also generate these sounds without adding extra fuel, helping keep exhaust temperatures under control while delivering the character you’re after.

More control. More flexibility. Pure Stratified.

Fueling without compromise.

Our EcoBoost Auxiliary Fuel Kit is designed to provide all the fueling capacity most Focus ST, Focus RS, Fiesta ST, and EcoBoost Mustang builds need while maintaining OEM-like integration and drivability.

The system adds supplemental port injection using our in-house designed controller and a complete plug-and-play harness that integrates directly with the factory vehicle wiring.

Beyond controlling the additional injectors, the controller also reads ethanol content, making it an ideal solution for ethanol blends, larger turbochargers, and higher horsepower applications.

Compared to upgrading the factory direct injection pump and injectors, auxiliary port injection offers a more cost-effective path to increased fueling capacity while providing the added benefit of helping keep intake valves clean.

Simple installation. OEM-level integration. Serious fueling capability.

This is fueling done the Stratified way.

548 WHP on pump gas from the factory Subaru ECU.

This 2010 STI hatch came in with a serious build from Dales Autosport: a built motor, stage 2 cams, Precision 6258 turbo, rotated kit, front mount intercooler, and the supporting fuel and sensor upgrades to match.

Making power with hardware like this isn’t the challenge.

Making it drive smoothly, transition cleanly, and respond predictably throughout the operating range is where calibration becomes critical.

Using EcuTek, we developed a hybrid MAF and Speed Density calibration that allows the ECU to accurately model airflow from part throttle cruising to full boost operation. The result is great streetability when you’re off boost and 548 WHP when you’re in it.

The Subaru factory ECU is far more capable than many people realize when paired with the right calibration strategy.

Big power. Smooth drivability. One properly dialed in ECU.

Some cars are worth preserving. This one has made it to 313,000km.

This 2004 STI has accumulated over 300,000 km and is still being driven, enjoyed, and cared for the way a Subaru should be.

Equipped with a 16G turbo and supporting modifications and built by Dale’s locally, the goal wasn’t to chase the biggest dyno number. Instead, we focused on building a calibration that complements the car’s purpose: responsive, streetable, reliable, and enjoyable for years to come.

Using , we developed a hybrid MAF/Speed Density calibration and tuned the car on spring pressure (1 bar) to provide consistent performance while respecting the customer’s emphasis for response and reliability on his higher compression EJ motor. Even on spring pressure we made 57whp more than the stock turbo.

Not every build needs to be pushed to the limit.

Sometimes the best tune is the one that keeps a rally icon on the road for many more kilometers.

Here’s to the next chapter for this classic STI.

These cars are meant to be driven.

Fresh oil. Fresh DSG service. A little extra tire wear from proper enthusiastic use.

We tune these cars to be enjoyed—not parked.

Drive them hard. Maintain them properly. Repeat.

Take care of your car, and it will take care of you.

The best turbo setups aren’t just powerful — they’re enjoyable everywhere in the powerband.

In our latest video (full video on YouTube), we take an in-depth look at the PowerMax 2260S turbo on the Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk8 and show how proper turbo sizing, ECU calibration, and TCU tuning come together to transform the MK8.

440whp / 450wtq does just that.

A well-matched turbo should deliver:
-Fast spool response
-Strong midrange torque
-Efficient top-end power

Using the Accessport, we calibrated and installed the setup in-house on both fuel types. To round things out, the DSG was unlocked and tuned ( ) and all of this make the car feel cohesive under all conditions.

The result is a GTI that feels responsive and entertaining on the street while still delivering serious performance when pushed.

Power matters. Balance matters more.
