Waiting for the first snowfall to switch your tires? You might already be late. 👀🛞

Winter tires are built for cold weather, not just snow. Once temperatures start consistently dropping, your all-seasons may not perform the same way they did all summer.

Beat the rush, skip the first-snow chaos, and get your winter tire swap booked before everyone in Saskatoon has the exact same idea. 😂

We all know a guy. 😂

Your cousin’s neighbour’s buddy who “does this stuff all the time” and can probably have it fixed by Sunday.

Sometimes? He knows what he’s doing (and we love that for him!)

Other times… we meet you on Monday. 🔧

When something isn’t right with your vehicle, proper diagnosis can save you a whole lot of guessing, parts-swapping and “well, that didn’t fix it.”

Skip the guessing. Bring it to Tech 7 Auto Repair.

The kids are back in school. Now it’s the car’s turn for a fresh start. 🎒🚗

A summer of road trips, snacks, sports, lake days and kids climbing in and out tends to leave a few… souvenirs behind.

Crumbs in places you didn’t know crumbs could reach. Mystery stains. Sand. Pet hair. The occasional French fry that may or may not predate the current school year.

With school back in full swing, it’s the perfect time to give the family vehicle a reset with Tech 7’s detailing service. ✨

Because you may have accepted that your kids will immediately make another mess — but at least you can enjoy those glorious 15 minutes when the car is spotless. 😂

Unfortunately, this is one group project where everyone actually has to contribute. 😂❄️

Your tires, battery, brakes, fluids, wipers, heat and defrost all have a job to do once Saskatchewan winter rolls around- and one slacker can make for a pretty miserable morning.

Fall is a great time to get the basics checked, deal with anything that's been acting a little questionable, and make sure your vehicle is ready before the cold really settles in.

🔧 Get your vehicle pre-winter ready with Tech 7 Auto Repair.

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ARVID! 🎉

Today we celebrated one of the guys who makes Tech 7 feel like family - Arvid!

Whether he’s helping out around the shop, hopping in the shuttle to get a customer where they need to go, talking cars, or keeping his son Shawn in line (a full-time job in itself), Arvid is always willing to lend a hand.

Outside the shop, Arvid is happiest spending time with his family, travelling, camping, and- unsurprisingly - anything involving cars. He’s also been known to enjoy a well-earned nap in just about any chair he can find.

Arvid brings a lot of laughs, stories, and heart to Tech 7, and we’re pretty lucky to have him around.

From all of us at Tech 7 Auto Repair, happy birthday, Arvid! 🥳

Turn the music down for a second… is that your car?

Squealing, grinding, scraping or other new noises when you brake aren't something to drown out with the radio.

Sometimes a noise has a simple explanation. Other times, it can be a sign that part of your braking system needs attention. Either way, brakes are one thing you don't want to leave to the “I'll deal with it later” pile.

Mounted? Non-mounted? What does that actually mean? 🛞

If your winter tires are already attached to their own rims, you need a mounted tire swap. We remove the complete wheel and install your seasonal set.

If your winter and summer tires share the same rims, you need a non-mounted tire swap. The current tires have to be removed from the rims before your seasonal tires can be mounted.

Knowing the difference makes booking your seasonal change a whole lot easier — but if you're still not sure, just ask us. 🔧

Your battery made it through summer… but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ready for a Saskatchewan winter. 🥶🍂

A little preventative maintenance now can save you from discovering something isn’t quite ready on the first really cold morning.

Get ahead of winter and book your fall maintenance with Tech 7 Auto Repair.

The toque is optional. A healthy battery is not.
