Please keep your comments clean guys.This is for the guys on those forums that say their transoms are solid and it's unnecessary to have it replaced. I don't disagree with the solid part. Its what is happening inside that you can't see. Also it's a myth that Lund changed to a better ply that don't attack the aluminum. Thats absolute BS. Same ply all the way up to 2016. This insert is pretty much bone dry. The corrosion is close to being one of the worst I've had in the shop. This is a newer Impact.

My good buddy Walter always says good people find good people. You can't be good at everything and when I looked at the transom in this 20 year old Lund, well its just not what we do. Thankfully another Lund guy I know suggested Over the Top Transom Repair and this turned out amazing. Hardest part of my job was dropping it off. They removed the engines replaced the transom with Coosa, filled, faired and lastly a coat of factory paint. Literally better than new. He does one per week Friday to Friday. Amazing experience highly recommend! Oh and its Colborne not Cobourg sorry !
