We recently travelled from Ottawa to Toronto and decided to try VIA Rail Business Class after previously making the trip in Economy.

What surprised us most wasn’t just the extra space or quieter cabin, it was the value.

When you factor in the lounge access, complimentary meal service, beverages, and overall experience, Business Class may actually make more sense than you think, especially if you’re already planning to purchase food and drinks during your trip.

Brittany turned the ride into a mobile office while I edited videos, enjoyed the scenery and meal service. A few hours later, we arrived in Toronto feeling relaxed and ready for the day.

Competed this past weekend at the International General Choi Memorial Cup in the Women’s Green Belt division for both sparring and patterns.

The experience demanded a great deal of preparation, discipline, and mental composure in the weeks leading up to competition day. While the nerves were certainly present, I am proud to have challenged myself in a competitive setting alongside talented martial artists from across the region.

🥉 Bronze Medal — Patterns

Grateful to my instructors, training partners, and everyone who supported me throughout the process. Back to training and continued growth.

Took VIA Rail from Ottawa to Toronto for the first time since I was a kid and honestly… there’s something timeless about train travel. Slower pace, good views, no airport chaos, and a little nostalgia mixed in. Canada really does have some beautiful routes. 🇨🇦
