🚨 OFF-ROAD ONTARIO DOUBLE HEADER WEEKEND 🚨
Off-Road Ontario is taking over Gopher Dunes this weekend. Here’s everything you need to know before coming out 👇

📆 May 30th & 31st

🏁 GP Track & Trail 1

⏰ Gate Hours
Friday (Arrival Day): 9AM - 9:30PM
Saturday (Sprint Enduro): 7AM - 9:30PM
Sunday (XC Race): 7AM

💲 Weekend Fees
Admission: $3 per person
- Friday: Anyone NOT paying the $35 riding fee must pay admission
- Saturday & Sunday: EVERYONE attending the event must pay admission (riders, family, friends, and spectators)
Practice: $35 per rider
Camping: $35/night per vehicle

🏕️ Camping & Parking
- Event parking + camping: North East Field (by the Pro Shop)
- Recreational riding parking: South Field (by the Peewee & Main Track)

🏁 Open Practice (Friday)
- 11AM - 7:30PM
- $35 per rider
- Main Track, Peewee Track, Beginner Track, & Trail 3 are OPEN
- NO practice on the track and trails used for the race

🛺 Pit Vehicles
- Golf carts are the only pit vehicles allowed. No SXS, quads, dirt bikes, or other vehicles are permitted to be used as pit vehicles
- Golf cart passes must be purchased at the Pro Shop upon arrival. The fee is per driver, not per golf cart

❗ Important Notes
- Everyone entering the property must complete a 2026 Gopher Dunes waiver (racers, spectators, family, and friends)
- Wristbands required for practice + racing
- All fees collected at the Pro Shop
- Camping tag required for every vehicle entering the North East Field

Got a friend who’s always wanted to try dirt biking but doesn’t have a bike? This is their sign…

At Gopher Dunes, getting into the sport has never been easier. Whether they’ve never touched a dirt bike before or already ride and just don’t own one yet, we’ve got everything they need to get started.

Our Red Rider Program is designed specifically for beginners and includes the bike, gear, and hands-on instruction to help new riders learn the basics in a fun and comfortable environment. It’s the perfect first step into the sport.

Already know how to ride? We also offer dirt rentals for riders who want to spend the day exploring our tracks and trails without needing to own or transport a bike.

With beginner-friendly tracks, sandy trails, experienced instructors, and an atmosphere built around fun, Gopher Dunes is the perfect place to introduce someone new to riding.

A lot of riders started with “just trying it once”… and now they can’t wait for weekends at the dunes. Who knows - this summer ride might be the one that gets your friend hooked on the sport for life!

The wooded seasonal camping section officially opens this weekend at Gopher Dunes.

📆 Returning campers keeping the same site: Friday, May 15th | 9AM - 5:30PM

📆 New campers or campers changing sites:
Saturday, May 16th | 9AM - 5PM

All campers MUST check in at the Pro Shop before heading into the seasonal camping area. A staff member will help direct you to your campsite during your designated move-in day.

⚠️ Returning campers wanting to keep the same site must either move in Friday, May 15th OR Contact staff ahead of time with your previous site location and planned arrival date.

If you haven’t done so already, please pick up your 2026 seasonal camping membership tag during check-in.

Track: Back Track

🕒 GATE HOURS:
Friday: 5PM - 9PM (access to the Back Track only)
Saturday: 9AM - 9PM
Sunday: 7:30AM

💲WEEKEND FEES:

🅿️ PARKING:
Event parking: Back Track Field. The 2nd Concession side road gate will be the only access to the practice and the race at the Back Track. There will be no travel between the 2 properties

20-min rotations:
- Super Minis/ Small Bike - top of the hour
- Non- Jumpers - 20 after
- Jumpers - 40 after

🛺 PIT VEHICLES:
Not Allowed:
- Golf Carts
- E-Bikes (Orion, Stacyc, Jetson, & similar bikes)
- Pit Bikes
- Scooters
Allowed:
- Standard bicycles (fully pedal- powered w/ no throttle)

⚠️IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Waivers required for EVERYONE entering the property (racers, spectators, family/friends)
- Wristbands required for practice and racing
- All fees will be collected at the Back Track gate. Every vehicle must stop and check in at the tent
- Camping tag required for every vehicle entering the Back Track
- No travel between Gopher Dunes main property and the Back Track. The race is separate from recreational riding at Gopher Dunes and travel between the two properties will not be allowed

Moto moms- are you looking for a “Perfect” snack to make for days at the track? Check out one of our favourite recipes using protein powder!

Baking instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Spray and line a 9×5 loaf pan (or muffin tin) and set aside.
- Puree the bananas and add them to a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk in all remaining wet ingredients until smooth.
- Whisk in the dry ingredients, making sure to spoon and level the flour/protein; don’t scoop right from the bag.
- Whisk until smooth.Fold in the nuts and dried fruit if using, you can also use chocolate chips.
- Transfer to your prepared loaf pan and top with chocolate chips if desired. Bake for 50-60 minutes (or 22 minutes for muffins) or until a toothpick comes out clean.

It’s the moment a lot of you have been waiting for… Starting Friday, May 1st, Trails 1 & 3 are open for the season!

It’s finally time to get back in the trees and put some laps in. Trail 2 will stay closed for a few more weeks to let it dry out some more.
