When a bedroom is also a play space, there is a fair bit to consider. Making zones is the biggest thing that will make a difference. We moved the dresser to be next to the closet to make a clothes zone. All the doll things came together into the more open area of the room so this girl can enjoy a larger play space. What's harder to see but makes a huge impact is going through every single thing, throwing out any garbage or random junk toys (you know the ones), keeping it to the ones that get played with the most. There was a lot packed under the bed because we all know that's how kids clean up their room. But no more, and hopefully now it'll be easier to tidy up after playing!

Two quick hours tidied this craft room right up! My client acquired two new shelves to add to the space which meant we could take the remaining craft items out of the closet (and those horrible plastic drawers), leaving it more for storage and even close the door! A tidy space is a good space for creating. 😊

Worked through a giant playroom job with my client today! We weren't heavy on the purging today, but the giant pile of random toy bits was all sorted and categorized in just over four hours! Pretty much very bin you see in the "before" was filled with random items. Hopefully now it will be easier for the kids to take of on their own at cleanup time!

A quick tidy in a girls' bedroom today! All the Lego is in the cupboard that closes, books are all on the shelf, and the random toy bits are together in one bin elsewhere, and I had about a groceries bag worth of garbage. I hope these girls feel the lightness of their bedroom. 🥰
