🏁 Medicine Hat Speedway offers the only paved oval racing track in central/southern Alberta and has been delivering thrilling racing action since 1985. What began as a grassroots project after the closure of the Brooks dirt track has grown into a community-driven racing venue. Our track has always been built and maintained by passionate volunteers and supported by generous local businesses. In 199

What a night at the track. Thank you to Servus Credit Union for sponsoring the day and to all the incredible companies who continue to support our speedway, your commitment keeps local racing strong.

Today is Race Day!! First Responders Appreciation Day at Medicine Hat Speedway is brought to you by Servus Credit Union.

We invite all racing fans (die-hards and new) out for a great night of racing and to join us in expressing appreciation for our local racers and local heroes.

As our way of saying thank you to the people who are there when our community needs them most, first responders from MH Police, MH Fire, MH EMS/Paramedics, CFB Suffield / BATUS, South East Alberta Search and Rescue, and HALO are invited to join us for complimentary admission with proof of service.

Apologies for the delay and for the absence of winners circle photos but here are the placements for last race day on Aug. 8 (the Dean Wakshinsky Memorial Race).

We have a lot of community-focused things happening this weekend, and we want to give some love back to the people and organizations that support us.

First Responders Day, sponsored by Servus Credit Union: MH Police, MH Fire, MH EMS/Paramedics, CFB Suffield/BATUS, South East Alberta Search and Rescue, and HALO are all invited to join us free with proof of service. Please help spread the word!

We also encourage everyone to come out and support the Al Statham Fundraiser. Check out our previous post for details and help us support one of our racing families.

This weekend at MH Speedway, we’re excited to welcome the MH Motocross Club to the track as they launch a special community raffle in support of the Statham Family.

They’ll be selling raffle tickets for a 2023 KTM‑350‑SX‑F and with ONLY 4,000 tickets printed, these will go fast. Tickets are $5 each, available cash at the track Saturday or by e‑transfer.

All proceeds will support the Statham Family following the tragic loss of Al. Our hearts are with them, and we know our Speedway community will rally together to help sell out this raffle for an incredible cause.

Let’s show what the Speedway family can do when we stand behind one of our own.

First Responders Appreciation Day - Saturday, August 22, brought to you by Servus Credit Union

We’re excited to welcome all first responders to Medicine Hat Speedway this Saturday for complimentary admission as we celebrate and honour the people who take such good care of our region.

We invite MH Police, MH Fire, MH EMS/Paramedics, CFB Suffield / BATUS, South East Alberta Search and Rescue, and HALO to join us for a full night of racing. Please bring proof of service at the gate.

All classes will be on the track, making this a great night for families, fans, and our community heroes.
