Every once in a while, I get to work on really neat pieces of history. This is a 1957 Bentley that this customer had some concerns about. One thing that was REALLY neat about it is that the starter motor on it appears to be original as the date code manufactured into the part number states that it was from '56!!! (though there's the possibility that it's been refurbished at one point) Regardless, very cool!!

What a summer it has been.
Learning lots and having fun doing it. The weather has been super cooperative throughout, allowing me to get to most my jobs without too much delays. Trying to keep up best I can, but it seems there's always a need for my services.

Sometimes you have to take a journey to find adventure. Well, as it turns out, that's exactly what happened to this Dodge Journey. Customer got himself into some deep water with this one when trying to get to his favorite relaxing spot. Ran into troubles half way through the creek when his intake drank a little too much (hey, it happens to all of us)

Thankfully, they got it out of the creek before too long, but had to wait a few days before i could get out there. Got the water cleared out, some new spark plugs and a fresh starter and she grumpily came back to life with little damage to more than the ego.

He says he might not do that again :)

This Kia broke down right in front of the Kia dealership. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel a little bit of satisfaction with the circumstances, even if it meant getting a little damp in the rain. Was able to get it up and running and avoid a tow for the customer.

How is it April already??? Sorry for the lack of posts the last bit. I've been SO busy! Here's a photo dump that includes some snowy jobs through the cold spell we had. Constantly booking a couple weeks out but slowly getting to everyone I can.
