Western Rattler 222 — Event Update
In solidarity with our community and those affected by the wildfires throughout the Okanagan, Penticton Speedway has made the decision to postpone the upcoming Western Rattler 222.
Hosting an event of this size requires significant local resources, accommodations, staff, and support. At this time, we believe those resources are better prioritized for residents, families, emergency personnel, and others impacted by the ongoing wildfire situation.
The Western Rattler will be rescheduled. As we work to determine a new date, we will be reaching out to competitors for their input and considering surrounding race schedules to avoid conflicts wherever possible. A new date will be announced once those conversations have taken place and we are confident the event can move forward without placing additional strain on our community.
All tickets purchased online for the Western Rattler will be automatically and fully refunded at this time. Additional information regarding the rescheduled event and future ticket sales will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
When the Western Rattler returns, fans can still expect the huge purse, incredible racing, and full event experience we have been looking forward to bringing to Penticton Speedway.
