🔥 Smoky outside? Your AC settings matter!

When wildfire smoke and poor air quality roll in, using your vehicle’s air recirculation setting can help reduce the amount of smoky outside air being pulled into your cabin.

🚗 Turn on recirculation mode during smoky conditions
💨 Keep windows and doors closed when possible
🌫️ Reduce the amount of smoke, ash and fine particles entering your vehicle
❄️ Help your AC cool the cabin more efficiently

And don’t forget about your cabin air filter! It works hard to capture dust, pollen and other airborne particles. If it’s dirty or overdue for replacement, it can restrict airflow and reduce how effectively your HVAC system works.

Once the smoke clears, switch back to fresh-air mode periodically to help prevent stale air and window fogging.
