We are looking for an automotive technician to join our team at Driven Automotive in Bedford.

Requirements:
Experienced and licensed or Red Seal certified
Independent and efficient worker
Owns personal tools (we provide quality shop tools)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Punctual
Friendly and able to work well with a team
Coachable and open to learning

Job Details:
Straight time gaurantee with bonus flat rate hours (Our current techs exceed straight time consistently)
Three paid sick days
Paid day off on your birthday
Health benefits partially covered by the company
Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM (no weekends)
$35 per hour

❄️ Drive Safe Today – Roads Are Extremely Slippery! ❄️

This is your reminder that the roads are very icy and snow-covered today. As you can see, it doesn’t take much to lose control in these conditions. Please slow down and give yourself extra time to get where you’re going safely.

Here are a few important winter driving tips:

1️⃣ Slow Down – Reduce your speed well below the posted limit. Black ice can appear unexpectedly.
2️⃣ Increase Following Distance – Leave at least 6–8 seconds between you and the vehicle ahead. Stopping takes much longer on snow and ice.
3️⃣ Brake Gently – Sudden braking can cause sliding. Apply steady, light pressure instead.
4️⃣ Avoid Sudden Movements – Steer, accelerate, and brake smoothly to maintain traction.

If you don’t absolutely need to be out, consider staying home until road conditions improve.
