Northern Alberta Sports Car Club NASCC Racing and Events The NASCC is Alberta's premier non-profit summer and winter car racing club! We hold over a dozen events yearly designed to get you out on track!

Club meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at Leefield Hall in Edmonton. Organizer of wheel to wheel ice and road racing events including racing and driving schools. Founded in 1957, the NASCC organized its first sports car race August 16,1958 at the Edmonton International Airport. It's first ice Race was held on Lac St. Anne at Alberta Beach, on January 8,1961. Countless rallies and slaloms have been run. Although Canada's national FIA - related organization has changed, the NASCC has always been affiliated with the Geneva based FIA. Therefore, NASCC members have always enjoyed connection to international motorsports. NASCC motorsports are family activities. Children and even grandchildren of NASCC members are now active in the club. Many NASCC members have gone on to play roles in prominent international motorsports, having learned to prepare and drive cars and organize events in the competitive yet supportive environment of the NASCC. The club also supports the community; for example, it has been involved with CHED's Santa's Anonymous for over 49 years.

It is with great sadness that I inform everyone of the passing of Mark Andruchiw on September 24th.
Mark was a dedicated member of NASCC and he will be greatly missed.
At this time I do not have information about a Memorial Service.
Our condolences to his brother Rick and the Andruchiw Family.

What a season. 🏁

Trackfest 2026 may have come to an end, but we couldn’t close out the summer without one more thank you to everyone who made it possible.

To our drivers, crews, volunteers, officials, sponsors, photographers, and everyone who came out to support racing in Alberta, thank you for being part of another incredible season with NASCC.

Every race weekend happens because of the people who show up, pitch in, compete, and support this community. We’re grateful to have you as part of ours.

A special thank you to our season partners:

What a way to close out the summer season. 🏁

August Subaru City Trackfest brought two full days of racing to RAD Torque Raceway for the WCMA Regional Cup, with Sprint Racing, Endurance, and Time Attack all hitting the track.

And the action didn’t stop at lunch. D-Marks Alberta joined us for a drift demo during the lunch break, bringing something a little different to the weekend and putting on a show for everyone at the track. 💨

Beyond the competition, this weekend also gave us the opportunity to race in memory of Barry Munson and celebrate someone who meant so much to the NASCC community.

A huge thank you to every driver, crew member, volunteer, official, sponsor, and spectator who helped make not only this weekend, but the entire summer season possible. And to everyone who travelled from across Western Canada to race with us, thank you for making the trip and being part of it.

That officially wraps up NASCC’s 2026 summer racing season. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the track this year. We’ll see you at the next one. 🏁
