In the Toronto area we stayed at Bronte Creek Provincial Campground (actually in Oakville). It was about an hour from all the areas we wanted to visit, which meant we didn’t need to move every day. We drove to the nearest GO station (5 min from the campsite) and too the train into Toronto proper. It was about a 45min train ride and Watson was welcome on it!
We visited the Hockey Hall of Fame, Distillery District, Royal Ontario Museum and the Toronto Islands. Although I’ve been to Toronto many times, this was the first time I actually took the time to see the sites and was unexpectedly charmed by Canada’s largest city😊

We made it to Winnipeg! While we were here we visited the Human Rights Museum and the Royal Canadian Mint - would recommend both😊
This is where the truck and trailer set-up beat out the motorhome; thankfully we have both! We parked the RV’s and we all piled into the truck to go to The Forks in downtown Winnipeg. It would have been stressful to navigate the motorhome through city streets and parking!

We stayed at the West Winnipeg KOA, which is right on Hwy 1. Super convenient for travel, a lot of traffic noise for sleeping and there is Semi’s running down the hwy 24hrs a day! This campground has a nice (but cold) pool, was clean and all the spots were pull-through. Bonus perk, it has a gas station right outside the campground that is perfect for all RV set-ups, so you can fill up right before hitting the road!
