One of the biggest advantages of a custom refit is the freedom to think beyond the expected.

In this case, what was once crew quarters has been transformed into a custom infrared sauna, tailored to make the most of every inch of space below deck. We love when owners come to us with projects that start with, "Can we...?" and we get the opportunity to bring those ideas to life.

Many older yachts were designed long before today's slim, flat-screen TVs became the norm. As technology has evolved, owners have often found creative ways to add larger screens, placing them wherever space allows. While functional, this isn't always the ideal viewing experience.

For this vessel, we took two different approaches based on what worked best for each space. In the salon, the TV was seamlessly integrated into new custom cabinetry with a remote-controlled pop-up lift. In the master stateroom, the TV was upgraded to a larger, wall-mounted display for a cleaner look and a more comfortable viewing angle.

The result is two entertainment solutions that feel like they've always belonged onboard, making it even easier to enjoy a movie night or catch the game while out on the water.

This refit wasn't about drastically changing the vessel, but about modernizing it for the years ahead.

A refit is often thought of as a cosmetic upgrade, but for many owners, the biggest benefits aren't the ones you see first.

Updated systems can improve reliability. Interior changes can make life onboard more comfortable. Modern components can simplify maintenance, and thoughtful upgrades can help preserve the long-term value of your vessel.

Every owner has different priorities, which is why no two refits are the same.

After nearly 20 years, the SonShip Reunion brought new and longtime owners together to reconnect, exchange ideas, and celebrate a shared passion for life on the water. This was more than a chance to admire some beautiful boats.
