🍁🇨🇦 HAPPY CANADA DAY FROM THE COMOX VALLEY VOLKSWAGEN FAMILY! 🇨🇦🍁

What an incredible morning! ❤️🤍 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Canada Day Parade in Downtown Courtenay. Seeing 5th Street packed from end to end with families, friends, and a sea of red and white was something truly special. 🍁🎉👏

We were proud to join the celebration with two Silver and Candy White First Edition ID. Buzzes ⚡🚐 and a Kings Red GTI ❤️🏁 the perfect Volkswagen trio to match the colours of the Canadian flag! 🇨🇦

Our parade vehicles were decked out in Canada Soccer branding ⚽🍁 as we're proud partners of the organization and couldn't be more excited about all the World Cup buzz happening right now! 🌎⚽🙌

Chris, our Parts Manager, and his family led the way in the first ID. Buzz, with the kids proudly waving Canadian flags out the back windows. 🇨🇦👋 Jay, our Lot Manager, cruised through the parade in the Kings Red GTI 🏁🔥, while Max, our New Car Manager, and his fiancée Lexy followed in the second ID. Buzz, complete with a ID.Buzz paddleboard on the roof rack ready for summer adventures. 🏄‍♂️🌊🚐

Meanwhile, Zack from our Sales Team was on foot handing out our 40th Anniversary stickers to all the kids along the parade route. Seeing so many smiling faces, waving flags, and excited little Volkswagen fans made the day even more memorable. 🎈😊🍁

🚗✨ Every Volkswagen has a story... and yesterday we heard a lot of them. ❤️

One of the coolest parts of the day wasn't just the cars, it was the people behind them.

💙 Mary brought the very first car she ever owned, a mint-condition 2000 Golf, alongside her beautiful classic Beetle, the same one featured on this year's Island Bug Jam poster! 🐞

🧡 The Anderson family rolled in with their legendary Orange Crush collection, turning plenty of heads all day long. 🍊🔥

🏁 Kelly made the drive all the way from Nanaimo just to spend the day with the VW community in her gorgeous GTI. That's dedication! 👏

From beautifully restored classics to daily drivers that have been part of the family for decades, every vehicle had its own history, and every owner had an incredible story to share.

Seeing 1960s Beetles parked beside brand-new Volkswagens, air-cooled icons next to modern performance cars, and generations of owners swapping stories made this event something really special.
