Courtenay Auto Supply Ltd is looking for a
Full-time Shipper/Receiver, Driver!
Your Locally Owned and Operated Part Store!
Duties & Responsibilities:
• You will support overall store operations in order to meet NAPA's exacting customer service and operational standards.
• Under the supervision of the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders, re-stocking shelves, communicating missing or damaged inventory and assisting with other store operational functions as outlined by the Store Manager.
• You will play a key role in achieving the store’s sales and customer service objectives. We are looking for someone interested in growing to other positions within the store.
• Handle orders and requests for parts and parts information by providing accurate, courteous, efficient and professional service to telephone, electronic and over-the-counter customers
• Prepare customer orders and handle product returns
• Maintain inventory and stock levels
• Effectively develop strong, loyal relationships with customers by providing an exceptional level of customer service
• Verify invoices to ensure that correct parts are pulled for customer delivery; assist with picking parts
• Maintain an accurate delivery log while complying with customer service delivery strategies and tracking procedures
• Coordinates deliveries with other drivers to ensure efficiency
• Assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
• Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds
Requirements:
• Experience in the replacement auto parts industry
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and planning skills
• Knowledge of tool & equipment, essential
• Knowledge of mechanical components
• Strong computer skills
• 1 year of previous delivery experience
• Valid driver’s License with recent clean drivers abstract
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
