Its no secret that I have a huge soft spot for GTIs. This clean example of a Mk4 20th Anniversary GTI received a full paint correction to bring it back to its original glory. Black cars are always so satisfying to work on, dark paint has the most dramatic increase in depth and shine when shown some love. Volkswagen's Black Magic Pearl is prime example of this.

After a series of delays getting environmental certifications Brightside Detailing is proud to finally announce the lauch of our new product: Brightside Protection Plus!

This is an affordable nano ceramic coating that improves the gloss of your paint, resists scratches, and is extremely hydrophobic, making washes effortless! No longer will you have stubborn dirt sticking to your cars bodywork. The best part is, unlike waxes and sealants that wear off in weeks, ceramic coating gives you maintenance free protection and shine for years!

Brightside Protection Plus starts at $200 per vehicle, this includes the product, preparation of your paint and application! As always, we come to you and provide our services in the comfort of your own garage.

Its always a treat to work on a classic and this Mk2 Celica Supra was no exception! It was a pleasure to make this already gorgeous example shine even brighter.

Here at Brightside Detailing we are no strangers to classics, you can trust that your pride and joy will be in good hands. Every classic car poses its own unique challenges when it comes to paint correction. Original paint can be very delicate to handle, and requires special care and attention to detail to not damage it. Full or partial resprays over the years throw a curve ball as the quality and hardness of aftermarket paints vary tremendously. Rubbers and plastics also degrade and can become very brittle over time, adding yet another factor to be mindful of.

Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution, the only non-Lancer-Evo! (That was a mouthful). This one is #581 of only 2500 produced. These machines were pure bred Dakar cars. In competition, Mitsubishi killed with the PajEvo, these things won 15 of 32 total Dakar rally events!

This was such an interesting vehicle to work on. It was really fun learning to deal with the widebody, and aero bits that added all sorts of crazy bulges and angles to the body lines.

Gotta love the charm of a classic car. This gorgeous MK1 Rabbit GTI had its original paint polished, black trims restored, and all sealed up with a coat of protection for a local car show!

The original hot hatch... now with a 21st century shine! :)

Anyone else have one of those moments where you walk out to your car just and discover that somebody got a little too close? Instead of taking it to an expensive bodyshop, let us take a look first. We can sort you out for approximately 1/10th the cost!

It is truly incredible what can be achieved with just paint correction. Most of the time there will be almost no evidence that the damage was ever there. This BMW 3 Series had some deeper gouges where the paint was completely scraped off the front bumper and thus the finished product is not perfect but the client was extremely happy with the results, especially for the price!

What a gorgeous colour! I found myself quickly falling in love with the Habanero Orange paint on this Beetle.

This car is almost brand new. All the swirl marks you see was from a non-touchless car wash. The client only took the car through a few of these washes and check out how badly it damaged the paint.

Oh well, we sorted out the paint work, gave the client a quick run down on how to properly maintain this finish and now this Beetle is looking fresh again!
